We stayed in Beech Cottage for a week and were most comfortable. Apart from the lack of a tea-cosy and tea-strainer (sorry!!) we found everything we needed. We were within easy driving of Long Mynd and Powis Castle, even easier for Attingham Park and closer still (by park & ride) to Shrewsbury. Having two sofas was lovely except that we couldn't then both use the coffee table. Apart from that, the bed, the shower and two TVs made this a great place to stay.

We stayed at Grove Farm House for 5 nights for self catering (Chestnut unit). We really had great time. The living room was beautiful, the kitchen was very functional with washing machine, micro wave, the bath room was nice and the hot tub was a plus for us. The super king bed was nicely decorated with high taste. It was really a perfect place. On top of that Liz was so nice and considerate even we stayed at a unit which was self catering she did put home made shortbread (Very tasty) in the box for us. The garden was so lovely and well kept. Grove Farm was very quiet and peaceful. The refrigerator had milk for us and everything you need was there. I enjoyed our home cooking instead of eating cold salad for dinner. I was very impressed with Liz. We felt like 5 nights were too short for us. We will be back again when we visit. Thanks Liz for the great time at your place.

I have been staying in the cottages at Grove Farm for nearly a year when I came to visit my Father who has been in deteriorating health. Sadly my Father passed away and in booking accommodation for the funeral not only is Liz doing bed and breakfast she has even offered to look after my dog whilst we are at the funeral. If that isn't going the extra mile I don't know what is! The self catering units are beautiful, tastefully decorated with high quality bed linen, towels etc. So much care has gone into them that you have everything you need for a more that comfortable stay. The cottages are peaceful and relaxing plus you have plenty on your doorstep to explore. Equally if you just want to claim some down time I can not think of anywhere else to do this. I shall carry on visiting Grove Farm as it holds very many happy memories. Thank you Liz for everything.

I stayed in the Chestnut suite which is a beautifully decorated and appointed 1 bed self catering option of Grove Farm. I know the area well as my Father lives in Shrewsbury but in visiting him I also wanted to claim a little "me time" and this converted milking shed couldn't have been more perfect. Think muted farrow and ball colours, lovely soft furnishings, a large bathroom with shower cubicle and bath and a huge bedroom with superking and high quality linen plus a kitchen with everything you need and woodburner - and that is Chestnut suite. I loved the silence and the peace - and could have easily stayed for much longer. When I arrived there was freshly baked shortbread plus fresh milk, tea and nespresso plus instant coffee. If you don't want to cook you can take breakfast at the farmhouse which I plan to try next time. This property has underfloor heating and is high end in every way. A perfect stay in what is my new happy place. Thank you Liz, I will most certainly be back.
