Had lunch in the bar area today. We had game pie which was absolutely delicious, served with fresh vegetables and chips. Our only disappointment (apart from the chips being frozen) was that we had no room for a pudding. We were given a friendly welcome, the service was quick and the food was lovely - we'd definitely go back.

Decided on the way to the start of our walk to book in for the night and we didn't regret it. Took a couple of bottles of beer to our room and had a hot bath...bliss!! Afterwards we headed down for a meal which was excellent! We shared garlic mushrooms, I then had the seafood platter and finished off with... More

We had our lunch here on 13th March 2016 in the bar area. We had our 3 and 5 year old children with us and staff were very friendly. The food was lovely and we couldn't fault it. Will definitely be back! A beautiful, quiet, country hotel with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. There is also a... More

We were lucky enough to revisit here this last week and the hotel gets better each time we visit. Firstly it's position is wonderful and so very quiet and picturesque...Glen Affric is stunning!!! The entire place is immaculate...beautifully maintained and managed. The food is beautifully cooked, presented and served and even more importantly delicious. We stayed overnight in a lovely... We stayed at the Cnoc Hotel back in Septand and had a great time. The ladies that worked there were all really friendly and the owner was lovely. The food was fantastic! Every meal the three of us had was superb and could not be faulted in any way. Yes the walls are thin but that cant really be helped.... More

We were in Glen Affric for the day and started to get hungry when we passed this hotel I thought it looked too posh but outside it had signs for childrens menus and seemed to promote a family vibe (we had two kids with us) so we ventured inside. What a beautifully decorated hotel, we sat in the bar and... More

I've stayed here three times now and will always go back. The staff are very friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the food is out of this world. I stay here for or before hillwalking but I think their main trade is fishermen.

My family have visited the cnoc many times when in the area for evening meals. Every time has been a delightful experience. The food has always been high quality and cooked to perfection. The price is very fair considering the freshness and high standard of the meal.

After some negative experiences elsewhere, we were extremely fortunate to find available accommodation at the Cnoc. The room and lounge/bar were cosy and comfortable and the staff friendly and welcoming. It was the first good night's sleep we had in days and we were blown away by the standard of the breakfast ingredients. The poached eggs and sausages in particular... More
