Had a surprise Sunday Lunch here, which was the first visit to the Cnoc for some years. Really enjoyed the whole experience with good food, very pleasant staff, and nice surroundings. Hope it will not be so long to the next visit.

We were only here for a dinner, the food was delicious, the staff were so friendly and obliging. The residents lounge where we were seated with drinks until our food was ready, was warm , comfy and welcoming, with an open fire and comfy suites. We will definately be back. The menu is varied, prices are very reasonable . Well... More

We stayed here in August - family of 5, 2 adults, 3 children. Room was lovely. We were shopping in Inverness during the day and despite the Cnoc being a bit of out of the way it was an easy drive to and from Inverness. The food was amazing!! Quite unexpected for a smallish and remote hotel. Worth making a... More

I was staying nearby and along with friends visited the Cnoc Hotel for dinner. I found the welcome was very warm, the staff were lovely and very friendly. Great selection of drinks in the bar including draught Guinness !! The dinner menu wasn't extensive but there was plenty to choose from offering a wide selection of starters, mains and deserts.... The Cnoc is a nice place but be aware that all the residents go to bed at 10 p.m. and the bar is closed. I found this to my cost when I walked several miles to get there one evening. The staff seemed friendly enough.

This hotel is very remote - but easy enough to find and not a bad drive from Inverness and then to Loch Ness. We stayed in a family room which was very large and comfortable. The room was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel's restaurant and the included breakfast the next morning. Staff was super friendly.

Quiet area and good for walking and cycling but jo major attractions nearby. Free parking next to hotel. Great they still served food until 8.30 and informed me beforehand about it, made it easy to get there after a long drive from the south of england. Staff was very friendly indeed all the way through from reception to meals and... More

Meal with friends on Wednesday evening. (July 15/16)..Had to eat early because of demand for tables and service was the usual friendly efficient manner we've come to appreciate so much. A la carte, (on the blackboard) and regular menues have something for everyone. My gammon steak, ( a regular choice) was well up to expectations. My wife and friends also... More

A stay at the Cnoc is music to our ears and on our list of favourite things. As comfortable as a pair of warm woollen mittens, the Cnoc wraps us in its warmth of hospitality every time we visit. If you like to get away from it all but want great food, service and a spotlessy clean place to stay,... More

This is a great place for a meal, particularly when you are walking or cycling in this area. We come every year for evening meals while on holiday. Consistently excellent, year after year. Starts with a warm welcome from Liz - the food is sublime, well presented, and beautifully cooked. PERFECT.
