i cannot praise the food, service and decor of this place high enough! And cannot believe that it is almost on my doorstep and I have not been there for years, but I will rectify that in the near future , as I will definitely be back! Absolutely fantastic food, and at such a reasonable price. THe waiting staff were...

This place is within walking distance from me which is a bonus when having a few drinks. The place seems to have been upgraded since my last visit over a year ago and is very cosy on a cold night. They have a wood burner in the bar and a coal fire in the sitting/waiting room The food was above...

With a fine sized car park, the hotel is a bit like a tardis, with rooms extending across the ground floor to provide a range of spacious areas to dine and relax. The upstairs bedrooms are well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The stairs may be a little steep for some to negotiate, but perhaps a banister would help in that regard....

I was very impressed indeed by The Robertson Arms - my only regret was that I was unable to have lunch or dinner at the hotel during my one night stay (as I was out for the evening, and left early the next morning). I had not necessarily been expecting the single room in which I stayed to be en-suite,...

This was a visit to Glasgow requiring one night's accommodation. We chose the Robertson Arms because of the reviews on Booking.com but it did not live up to expectations and were somewhat disappointed. Location was fine and the public rooms were very pleasant, nicely laid out and furnished. The bedroom and bathroom were slightly on the small side but perfectly...

We stayed here overnight on 29th December. We actually live locally but as we had a house full of guests for our son's wedding, my husband and I decided to book into the Robertson arms. It was a good decision. The room was tastefully decorated and warm. Very comfortable bed and all the facilities you need. Breakfast in the morning...

4 of us had lunch at the Robertson Arms and all enjoyed our meals, the battered fish was excellent, I scooped up every morsel. Good decor and reasonably priced, I am certainly likely to return, probably more than once.

We needed a one night stay near Lanark as our usual accommodation was fully booked. The Robertson Arms was recommended, and we were not disappointed. Accommodation was good and breakfast (included) very good/

Stopped for a quick bite to eat whilst visiting family. Nice little pub, clean and tidy with a good varied menu. The young waitress (Amy) was friendly, polite & professional. However, she did look to be intimidated by her colleague (older gentleman, possibly the owner?) who brusquely spoke to her and who paid us no attention whatsoever when we left...

Excellent accommodation for short stay. Double room clean and tidy with very efficient power shower. Management and staff friendly and helpful and breakfast provided plentiful and of very good quality. Would strongly recommend.
