We stayed here after a wedding in September. The guesthouse is in a beautiful garden setting and we were received very friendly by the staff. The room was adequate, however the aircon didn't work properly. We didn't report it as we were out the evening and didn't need the aircon while we slept. Also my sister took a shower late...

31st October 2016 - Lunch The restaurant is set in a beautiful garden and we were lucky enough to get seats in the shade close enough to listen to the live music (which was excellent) but comfortably not in the sun. I would say that after 1 and a half hours we started to enquire where our food was -...

We brought intra africa visitors from Newcastle for a side car ride and lunch we had under the trees in the Garden. The menu provides some fine dinning and deserts to die for. Service was good and the Resturant staff accomodated us with all our requests.

A one nighter chill out at Die ou Pastorie delivered exactly what the doctor ordered. Dinner was excellent and fairly priced. Baked Camembert and home made Pate to start. Lamb Shank and a Beef fillet as mains. Nice bottle of Edgebaston Pepper Pot to go with...too full for dessert. R670. Stayed over - nice spacious room and very comfy bed....

After 25 years of dining I have never had a such a poor experience of management intervention in my entire life. Admittedly it is Mothers Day, but then all you ask for is a good experience. After been served up average starters, the main course arrived about 2 hours later. The pork belly was ice cold and fatty. At R400...

We attended a wedding nearby and booked into Die Ou Pastorie for the night. Easy to find and obviously a very popular lunch venue with great food and live music. What makes the place really special is the exceptional service from the minute you check in and the superb food. We would have loved to spend more time there and...

We stopped past Die Ou Pastorie recently while out on the bike. We arrived a little before 10h00 and were able to get a table under the trees in their stunning garden area. Food and service were really good and we will definitely include Die Ou Pastorie on our regular breakfast run agenda.

When visiting the area of Hartbeespoort, the short drive to Scheerpoort (Skeerpoort) is more than worth your effort...this is a Gem not to be missed! They accommodated us on short notice for a 70th birthday launch. The chef satisfied everyone's tast, with the home grown veggies especially. The Manageress was very friendly and more than eager to answer all our...
