Our last stay on a roadtrip in Spain before departing from Madrid. The owner is very charming and helpful, but I can´t understand why this B&B is rated as good as it is. Upon arrival you get a complimentary (half) bottle of red wine and in the evening a free tour of the old cellar with wine tasting. Think some... More

A wonderful find - warm and friendly hosts, terrific food served in the outdoor restaurant, comfortable bed, a real highlight of the trip. We highly recommend this place, especially if you are willing to try something a little different, out in the country, part of the Ribera del Duero wine region.. The place in located in a tiny town -... More

Impressive rooms, great food run by a very friendly and helpful family. Enjoyed the peaceful and quiet village. Tasted wine in their wine cave and enjoyed a great meal under the stars. Also a great area for bicycling.

What an unexpected treat to be led down a candle lit stairway to a 100+ year old wine cellar. Then to taste the most beautiful and generous pours of local wine was extraordinary. This family friendly hotel/bed & breakfast is well worth the effort. We had one last night Madrid and this was a perfect end to our holiday only... More

We stayed here for one night during a road trip. The village is not in itself anything to write about, other than its beautifully remote location. We chose it as a good stopping point on the journey back to Santander. However, the hotel is a fabulously restored building with such thought and attention to everything. The hotel owners also run... The hosts Mariano and his mother run this establishment as a family operation. After two years, we returned to make another performance check, which was passed with great excellence. The enthusiasm and hospitality is heart-warming! Located in a small village about 12 KMs sideways from the A1, Madrid – Burgos at exit approx. 130 KM another world is opened. The... More

Looking for a spot to break our journey from the South of Spain enroute to Santander my wife chose this little mountian village above the Ribera Del Duero with aim of collecting some wine before the final leg to the ferry. We booked 2 nights to allow one day for visiting Bodegas and wine purchasing. As others have said the... More

Firstly let me say I am not given to writing reviews and in fact this is the first I have written (I spend at on average 2 nights a week in hotels so you can see this is a unique thing to do!) however this place is special. The location is about 10 km from the A1 to Burgos-Madrid but... More

I have just come back from a trip across Spain during which I stayed one night in this establishment. How much I regret I didnt plan more trips in this area so we would stay there for longer! Since this simply is a special place. The owners have reconstrued the posada which was in ruins with their own hands and... More

More
