Had the best experience ever at a B&B. Charlie and Jane were so welcoming and friendly. Lovely cuppa and shortbreads on arrival. Lovely large room with ensuite and all you needed to make yourself at home. Fantastic breakfast in the morning including homemade bread and 10/10 scrambled eggs. Would definitely come again and highly recommend.

We have stayed in Bashfords Farmhouse twice now, with a four year gap in between, and the quality of this B&B has not changed. It is one of the best B&B`s we have stayed in in the U.K. Our hostess prepared a gorgeous vegetarian evening meal and dessert for us (booked in advance) Our bedroom was large, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The en-suite had all the extras to make life comfortable. As weary walkers we were met with a welcome cup of tea/coffee and biscuits upon arrival. I would definitely recommend that if you need a bed and food in West Bagborough that you stay here.

We were walking the Macmillan Way West long distance walk. When we arrived at this picturesque village house with the sound of water from the little stream in front, I didn’t want to go any further. Great welcome taking our boots and being given tea and shortbread in the beautiful sitting room. Our bedroom spacious and beautifully furnished with thoughtful extras.... teapot, books. Great, much needed bath! A pub just down the road, albeit expensive. Informative hosts who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and a great breakfast. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Absolutely brilliant B&B, perfect in every way. Owners are friendly and helpful, room was large and comfortable, our room had an en-suite shower room. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Pub 3 doors away (expensive for food). This is a great place to stay, very highly recommended.

Expert B&B. Perfect x Contacted by email and was able to organise 2 rooms approx 2 months in advance, follow up email and check arrival time so knew what time to expect us. Arrived to be greeted by owner & his best friend ‘Tea & biscuits’ (homemade & delicious) served in lovely lounge. Bedroom was decorated with some wonderful art & a georgeous wardrobe with two armchairs and table. More homemade biscuits with the tea & coffee making. Fresh milk was left in a cute little thermos! Allowed access to other the room day before to decorate 2nd bedroom for my parents Ruby Anniversary x which was the surprise for them. Was lovely to have breakfast with my parents the day after they celebratory meal. Also had other homemade bottles to take away with. Lovely weekend x
