We had a wonderful time in La Pierre :D My husband an me were surprised by this beautiful farm!! Staying here, is the best way to explore The Loire Valley. owners hospitality are outstanding. They made every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible... Our room, was beautifully furnished and simply charming with comfy bed and a very nice bathroom. Furthermore, we can cook by ourself for free!!! Hope we will come back soon!! Edward & Marcy

We stayed here 3 nights as we were in the area for a wedding. The rooms are part of a farmhouse and the owners live on site. But the rooms that are rented out are in what felt like an annexe with a little kitchentte, a big dining table and some outside tables and chairs. There are also some swings and a little table tennis area to entertain the children. There's no Tv, but there is wifi those of us who can't resist keeping touch ... There are two rooms upstairs that are really big and can easily accommodate a family of four in each. And downstairs there were another couple of doubles. We stayed as part of a group of 6 adults and 2 children, and we really felt like we had the run of the place, making the whole experience sociable and fun. I must remark on how clean and well presented the whole place was. And our rooms and the kitchenette was beautifully cleaned everyday. Only thing, breakfast really was a croissant and a small piece of bread, which was fine for the price we paid for the room. Just don't rely on breakfast to set you up for the day. Maybe stock up with yogurts and cereal etc in the large supermarket which was only a few mins drive. The other word of warning was that we got quite bitten by Mosquitos upstairs. Those in our party who slept downstairs were not affected at all. So just be sure to have repellant. I'm sure if we'd asked the owners they would have given us some. Finally to note, there was a restaurant about 800m away. We never went there, but thought I'd mention it.
