Detailed Reviews
We stayed here 3 nights as we were in the area for a wedding. The rooms are part of a farmhouse and the owners live on site. But the rooms that are rented out are in what felt like an annexe with a little kitchentte, a big dining table and some outside tables and chairs. There are also some swings and a little table tennis area to entertain the children. There's no
Tv, but there is wifi those of us who can't resist keeping touch ...
There are two rooms upstairs that are really big and can easily accommodate a family of four in each. And downstairs there were another couple of doubles. We stayed as part of a group of 6 adults and 2 children, and we really felt like we had the run of the place, making the whole experience sociable and fun.
I must remark on how clean and well presented the whole place was. And our rooms and the kitchenette was beautifully cleaned everyday.
Only thing, breakfast really was a croissant and a small piece of bread, which was fine for the price we paid for the room. Just don't rely on breakfast to set you up for the day. Maybe stock up with yogurts and cereal etc in the large supermarket which was only a few mins drive.
The other word of warning was that we got quite bitten by Mosquitos upstairs. Those in our party who slept downstairs were not affected at all. So just be sure to have repellant. I'm sure if we'd asked the owners they would have given us some.
Finally to note, there was a restaurant about 800m away. We never went there, but thought I'd mention it.

A very welcoming, warm and friendly place like its hostess. As soon as we arrive, we feel at ease, Mathilde shows us pleasant, spacious and comfortable rooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet. The breakfasts are a treat with excellent jams, honey and homemade yogurts, pastries and unlimited breads in a very pleasant setting. The picnic tables, the green setting, and access to the pond by pedal boat make this place an excellent base for those who come to discover the Center of France. A high quality establishment that we highly recommend.

A really pleasant gîte where life is good. We have not seen the time pass. Our children had so much fun with the Pedalo on the pond creating their childhood memories. The rooms are spacious and really tastefully decorated. The entire cottage is very clean. The bed linen as well as the bathroom linen are of good quality. The bedding was very comfortable. Breakfast was a moment we looked forward to every morning. It was so delicious. Lots of choice: homemade yogurt, brioche, pastries, baguette, honey.... It was a pure marvel for our taste buds. Mathilde gave good advice; very pleasant. Always keen to do well for us. A pleasant and very kind person. Thank you for this long weekend which really allowed us all to disconnect.

A simple and efficient welcome, quality services and a possible welcome for pets. Good advice for eating in a nearby establishment and being able to get local cheese late (refrigerated display case). Purchase of cheese made and tasted with relish. Perfect stay. Thank you for this welcome.

A place in the image of the hostess. Very welcoming, very warm, very friendly. From the moment you arrive, you feel at ease. The rooms are very pleasant, spacious, and comfortable. The bathrooms are clean. The picnic tables, the green setting, the impression of freedom make this place an excellent base for those who would like to discover what the Center of France has to offer: the castles (within a radius of an hour: Chambord, Chenonceau, Valençay etc...), the Beauval zoo, the forests... There are excellent homemade jams and yogurts which will delight you for breakfast, and the dining room is really very very pleasant. The hostess was courteous and very welcoming, and put us at ease very quickly. In the heat of the day, being able to park the cars in the shade was also very nice. And the masked room shot was very distracting. A high quality establishment that we highly recommend.
