We were very well received in a clean and pleasant hotel, very friendly atmosphere. Good local Piemontese dining including several courses and choices. Excellent location if you want to explore the Maira Valley, situated in the town of Acceglio with access to small shops, bars etc. To be recommended.

I went on a ski touring trip here. The owner, Alessandro, was extremely helpful and friendly - he really added to the quirky character of the hotel! Rooms are clean and simply furnished and the food was very tasty. I had a very enjoyable stay here.

I spent two nights in this lovely, small, hotel in the Italian Alps and found it far exceeded my expectations. The proprietor spoke great English and went out of his way to accommodate my needs, advising me on where to hike in the region with a complete command of the area. The food was quite good and the coffee and...

Simple clean hotel with friendly staff, at a reasonable price. Not the most picturesque village, and you will find more rustic tavernas in old villages, but Londra was ideal for us on a week's ski touring. They are happy to provide early breakfasts, and will prepare lemon tea for your thermos for free. Evening meals are substantial, don't expect cordon...

We had been planning on going to Cinque Terre for 4 nights, and at the last minute, decided to spend a few days n the Val Maira region. We are SO glad we did. We had a bit of a difficult time finding a place to stay, as we were in this region on November 1st and we found that...

We were on a hiking tour in Valle Maira and spent one night at the Londra Hotel. The service was very friendly, but food was terrible. Large rooms but no heating - with temperatures nearby 4 or 5 degrees.

Stayed there for 2 nights and we had a wonderful time. Alessandro and all of his staff were great. The hotel is very nice and clean. The food was superb. We had dinner there one night (you have to let them know in advance), and we really had a Piemontese typical dinner. We are planning on going back next year...

My husband and I for the beauty of the nature and were thrilled by the hospitality at Hotel Londra. The rooms were spotless and Alessandro, in reception, was extremely helpful at recommending hikes and local sites to see, including amazingly beautiful old villages, alpine lakes, and great restaurants. The food at Hotel Londra was delicious! I would recommend Valle Maira...

My girlfriend and I spent four days during the summer here and it was very beautiful. The hotel is very comfortable with great food and a helpful staff. The town of Accelgio is a hidden gem in the Italian north. We were able to go on many very interesting and beautiful hikes, and at the end of the day we...

Our group has staid for seven nights in March 2012. Vale Maira and Alessandros hospitality is a perfect combination. The kindness of him and his team along with the varying sufficient original Italian food (book half board!) is a great value for money combination. They really give there best to make you feel as almost being at home. You will...
