We just returned from a week long stay at the Retreat at Rum Point. 1) We selected this condo resort for it's proximity to Rum Point snorkeling for the different swimming skill levels of our children. The proximal location to the snorkeling did not disappoint. 2) The second reason for selecting this resort was its proximity to restaurants, so that... More

Will you kindly note the unit you stayed in? These units are all independently owned and readers like to know which ones have the best views, are ground floor, etc. It sounds like your unit wasn't one of these. Thank you for noting our prime snorkeling location and other positive things you mentioned. As for the aging game room, the... More

I just returned from Cayman Islands and the fabulous Rum Point Retreat #23 with my son and brother and sister-in-law. What an unforgettable week we had at the perfect getaway. I had never visited Cayman Islands before but it was all the pictures depict and so much more especially when it came to our fabulous accommodations at Retreat #23. There... More

We stayed in Unit #23 for 11 nights. We had ocean views from both bedrooms, living room and kitchen. This unit had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and there were even snorkel masks and fins. It was spacious and I loved the luxury linens on the beds. There was even a bbq that we enjoyed using. The ocean... More

We stayed in unit 12 of the Retreat at Rum Point in the last week of April 2016. My wife and I travelled with our 6 year old and 3 year old. This was the best family beach vacation we’ve had so far. Summary: Pros: - Beach front property with white sand beach, calm water, and great snorkeling - Well-maintained... More

We have stayed there twice and in the area on two other occasions. We like it because it is quiet, with great snorkeling and paddle boarding, and has a few great little restaurants. However, they are in the process of building another building between the swimming pool and the water and there is a lot of mess and noise. It... More

Location seemed a little remote at first until it became clear Rum Point is the area everybody will want to visit because of all the things to do. This area is not for the shop til you drop crowd but for those who vacation to get away from the crowds. We will definitely go and stay at this location again.

LOVE this place! It's perfect. We have had a fantastic experience while here and being in the off season, we have it to ourselves practically. I watch the sunrise each morning, and watch the sunset each night, right from my rooftop. It's amazing. Great beach bar next door, fun restaurants nearby, yet easy drive down to the busy part of... We stayed at this resort for a week and loved it so much we can't wait to go back. The condos are so nice and comfortable with everything you need - perfectly set up for a casual island vacation. All necessities are included - a home away from home - and the screen porches are a lovely place to enjoy... More

You are right on the point of northern central Grand Cayman. Lovely beach, close to (ridiculously expensive, but it is vacationland) food, drink, and shops, and beautifully maintained. Quiet, and gorgeous views. Highly recommended.

Stayed 2 weeks at this condo complex. Awesome time. Conveniently on the beach with gorgeous views, next to Rum Point snack area and water sports rental. All the action without the crowd. Really enjoyed the Red Point private boost rental. It was a guided tour of local dive spots. Very knowledgeable guides and great snorkeling.
