I would not recommend anyone stays in this hotel. The Manager has a poor memory when it comes to what you have booked and is insistent on trying to "upsell" on everything. We booked 12 rooms for a bike ride and were then "told" we had booked dinner and his "£friend" was waiting for us. We had never booked dinner....

Upon arrival some beers were ordered, all the drinks bottles on the shelf were empty for some reason, the owner went out to the back and opened some tins of beer to poor into glasses, he came back and then proceeded to charge Full price when the glass was only half full. Rooms were basic, bathroom was mouldy and unclean....

The owner clearly doesn't want to run a hotel any more. I was there as part of an organised bike race in August (the Haute Route), so we represented a large number of bookings for the hotel. The owner was consistently rude, unhelpful and often abusive to almost everyone in our race party. He refused to tell me what my...

Awful customer service. Rudely spoken to. Loud music blaring throughout the day. Locked out at 8.50pm without being told a) the doors would be locked at a certain time and b) how to gain access to the hotel again. Reception area stank of smoke. Would not recommend.

Well what a place, the owner needs to sell and move on, he has no customer skills and can be very rude at times. He smokes everywhere, he has this big dog that barks in the bar, breakfast is a joke no cereal, dirty dishes and chipped and mouldy fruit, rooms are clean but very old and dated and the...

I chose this hotel primarily for location, and price. I was pleased with both. I traveled alone so the size of the room was adequate. It was clean and basic. The breakfast was adequate, the coffee weak. The breakfast room was very nice. Children (family members?) occupied the 1st floor lounge but I wouldn't have used it anyway. It was...

It is a traditional, family type hotel, that needs some modernisation but is still comfortable. Located near the town centre and the ski resort /prorel cable car. Nice welcoming from the hosts with a smile, nice maids and waitress. I booked a single room. Parking, Nice mountain view. The bathroom is much too small and there was some "pipe" smell....

I stayed here for two nights and that was enough. The room on the second floor was fine, very basic and dated but clean. We had a few problems with the shower because it was set so low but good pressure and hot water after waiting for at least 5 minutes. I slept well although the room tended to get...

We ended up here after an error at another hotel. We had the last available bedroom and did not expect much, it was quite close to the train station (gare) and our room was on the second floor above the street. My two sons, husband and I walked into a small room which didn't leave much to maneuver, but it...

After a long drive and ride, coming into Briancon was rather daunting, after driving through the countryside and alpes, coming into the town that was very busy was one in which required attention to where you go. The first thing that caught my eye were the directions to Hotel de Paris, I was driving and my partnering was riding. For...

“We were in room 217 which had 2 singles and a double bed at the end of the hall on the second (which is kind of like the US's 3rd) floor. It was quite close to the train station and above the street. Even with these negatives, I would recommend it and choose to stay in that room again! The nights are cool there, so we left our window open in the day and then kept our window closed at night and it was very quiet.”
