A very clean and modern hotel especially the rooms located in Floor 4 to Floor 10. Very good breakfast. Very well trained and polite members of staff. Beautiful coffee shop on the roof but the only drawback is it is not open in the afternoon.

The hotel is situated next to the holy shrine of Imam Reza, suitable for people going for pilgrimage. The location could be crowded at times, with hundreds of shops nearby and the Bazar next to it. It is an old hotel, but many rooms have been renovated recently. The hotel façade has been renovated too. We were three so we stayed in a suite which has one large room with a king size bed with a dressing table, a writing desk and a good-sized wardrobe. A sitting area of same size with a sofa, bar counter, two highchairs and small kitchenette with tea making facilities, few plates, fridge, cutlery, glasses but no cooking facility. Two TVs in suite, mainly local channels, only few English news channels. There are many foreign in-house films but dubbed in local language. Reception and lobby are good-sized with a café in one corner. Breakfast hall is big, Very good breakfast buffet with various food varieties. There is a café on the top floor with view of the city. Wi-Fi service is not very good, you get a daily limit of 400MB only which is gone in half hour, especially three are using it. More service can be bought and is not expensive. But I think such service should be free and unlimited in hotels. Housekeeping service can be improved. One time they forget to clean the room and only came in evening to empty trash and change towels. We had to remind them a couple of times. Bathroom small, well supplied with toiletries, shower area is enough in size with rain and telephone showers.

We booked this hotel in advance on the TAPpersia website. Because I tried to book it straight but their own website seemed to have problems. I sended them several emails in english to make a reservation but I never got any reply back. We were surprised by the luxury after 2 weeks Kurdistan in very simple hotels. Our renovated room was superb, very luxury, Also the bathroom was super convenient. The only negative thing I can mention was, that the bathroom lights were broken. We called roomservice and they fixed it immediately. We got a nice green welcome drink on arrival. The holy shrine is on walking distance, very very convenient especially if you want to walk there at night. Very close. The huge breakfast buffet was a real surprise. It was very adventurous for us, europeans as well. A lot of food that we did not knew what it was. The signs indicating the food were unfortunately only in Persian. So we still did not knew what it was but we just tried a few. No fesh coffee, but of course Iran is a tea country. Overal we were impressed by the location, luxury and convenience of this hotel. They should just check their website, so also people from abroad can book for a far nicer price then through TAPpersia agency. We paid 52 euro's for a room plus breakfast. We were very satisfied with our choice, and would not hesitate to come again.

I stayed in the hotel for two full weeks and I'll list the negatives and positives about the hotel. The good things: 1- the hotel is new and clean. 2- close to Imam Reza Holy Shrine. 3- they offer an affordable taxi service around the city in new cars.. the person on the taxi counter and the drivers were friendly and helpful.. namely the person on the day shift on the taxi counter (Ali) and two drivers both named Mahdi were nice persons. The negatives: 1- the internet connection was so weak and unavailable most of the time. 2- The receptionists were unfriendly, frown, and rude.. namely one girl called Zainab and another girl with blond hair. When you ask for help they barely try to do anything .. most of the time they promise to do what the customer wants but they don't commit to their promise.. I asked for help several times regarding the internet connection and they call the IT director (who doesn't show up), then they send us to our rooms promising that they will follow up and call to solve the problem which never happened. 3- the food in the buffet was not as expected in a such high class hotel. The ingredients and cooking were of poor quality and literally the leftovers from the lunch were put again on dinner ! Dishes were the same almost daily. In short, the hotel is merely a good building with almost absent services on all levels such as food, Internet and staff attitude. Only the taxi service was good enough.

So our group of six arrived mid morning and we were quickly checked in and odd to our rooms to relax after a long delayed flight (no thanks to Oman Air, one to avoid in future). The hotel is about a five minute walk to the Holy Shrine so is ideal if you are on a pilgrimage. Lots of shops around with the Imam Raza bazaar a few steps away. We had an executive rom which means apart from the bedroom, we had a lounge to chill out. The room was big, specious and clean. The bathroom was also clean. Cleaning service everyday with no complaints. The restaurant on the first floor for meals and breakfast was big enough to accommodate lots of people so no waiting. There was a good selection at breakfast and lunch/dinner. Food was good. The view from the roof top restaurant/café is amazing. Overall it is a nice place to stay and close to everything. Only issue I had was that everything in the restaurant was labelled in Arabic.
