Unfortunately it was only a one night stay, but hopefully we will return. The family room was impeccably clean with a comfortable sofa bed. You can sit in the patio and enjoy the views. The landlords are so nice and helpful. Even the family dog makes you feel welcome.

Lovely clean, quiet b&b. We stayed last weekend and had a lovely welcome, shown to our room which was brilliant, nice and clean. Delicious breakfast the following morning. Would recommend this place to everyone

We stayed in the family room, with it's own deck and views across fields. The room is spacious and clean The host supplies eggs from his own hens and ducks for the optional breakfast and nothing is too much trouble. Walking distance from the village where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants and a regular bus service into town

We would like to thank Colin & Liz for their attention and friendly approach. Nothing was too much trouble (even getting some spot on directions into Swindon, and some advice on local walks, and local places to eat etc..). Room very clean, comfortable, and warm. Liked the chickens & ducks :).. Lovely relaxing stay and if we are area again... More

After having an awful nights stay elsewhere we found this gem! What a find... We were greeted by Colin along with the chickens and the ducks which gave a lovely homely feel to the place. The room... wow! Stunning. 100% clean, smelt beautiful, decor stunning, outside view was amazing! Colin showed us how to use everything; heating etc and then... More

My wife and I stayed here last night and immediately wished we could have stayed longer. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and the shower was of a decent size and powerful, which made a pleasant change from other establishments where the shower cubicle is so small you cannot move. The grounds with chickens and ducks running... More

Colin is a genial and welcoming host. The rooms are separate from the main house and are surrounded by gardens and gravel paths. Seating and tables are outside each room. We had the family room and it is lovely - finished to a high standard - decor, carpet, flooring and soft furnishings are lovely. The bathroom is fab! Decent sized... More

What a great place; superb quiet location, fabulous room and great breakfast. Why would anyone stay in a big hotel? This is the first time I've been asked if I wanted hen or duck eggs for breakfast as I sat looking at the hens and ducks in the garden. What a great way to start the day!

We had a lovely weeks stay in October for hubby's birthday. Ideal base for touring the area, superb views and a comfortable bed, but the breakfasts were second to none! Colin and Liz were always happy to help and the breakfasts were great! Ducks and hens were wandering around outside and Hamish the dog was quite a character.

Comfy large rooms - far larger and better equipped the the stupidly priced hotels in this area. Rooms clean and quiet with comfy beds and a decent shower. Home cooked breakfast - with a great choice. Friendly owner (quite happy to find the football in Sky TV in the games room if that's your your thing - however this could... More
