Hotel's Favorite
This small hotel is located on Cavusin, just 3 kms away from the more busy Göreme. If you have a car it is really recommended to stay here as you get the quiet and picturesque views and can get to Göreme very quickly.
The staff were incredibly helpful, from suggestions on which air balloon to take, to helping out on anything we needed. Great attitude!!
The rooms are typical of the area built within the old cave structures but the amazing part is the view, especially at 6 am when the balloons are flying over.
Breakfast was good and they also gave us a takeaway version in our last day as we needed to leave early.
Just a small point is that the hotel should check the bulbs as we had two lights not working.

I've stayed 3 days in Seki Cave suite and it was an amazing experience.
All the staff are really lovely and do take care of each client, always here to help u. (I have twisted my ankle and everyone was here for me and were checkingif I needed anything)
The location is really amazing and quite, caves are right next to the hotel, you can see the hot air balloon from your room in the early morning.
The breakfast was delicious and all home-made a variety of turkish food, The best breakfast we had from now.
We will definitely come back and recommend.
You can go there with your eyes close.

Nice and friendly team. Spacious room and big bath (with tub and shower). Own terrace in front. Safe and fridge for free, airconditioning and heater available. The balloons are flying over the terrace just some 20 meters above. Splendid view! Strange feeling to lodge in a cave but it was cool...
The parking lot is quite small but it was for free and staff managed the reparking (no accidents :) by itself). It is difficult to find the hotel for the first time (located on the high caves), so better call before...

Our family reunion happened in Seki Cave, Cave Cavusin which is a great location for all activities. The staff is very friendly and professional. Breakfast was complete satisfaction. Cave rooms are the almost triple size of the standard hotel room. Housekeeping was excellent The only thing that is a bit worry is parking the car, the parking lot has limited space but the staff is very helpful with parking. For balloon rides watch, wake up early and see them 20 m away from your terrace.

Worth it. Great staff both at reception and restaurant. The staff offered to carry our luggage up and down the stairs. Parking is limited but the front desk staff is always available to help you with the parking. Rooms are really nice and quite large.
Breakfast spread was good . Depending on the direction of wind the balloons can come really within few meters above the hotel. There are 3-4 restaurants near hotel but are more reasonably priced than the touristy Goreme area ones.
We booked Turkish night that happens at Avanos which they helped us to book. They can also arrange for Turkish bath at their sister hotel. More about it in separate review. Goreme and the love valley where the balloons take off/land are very close to the hotel. Would recommend to rent a car which would make it all very easy to travel around.
The hotel is value for money as you get bigger rooms and within short driving distance to the Goreme city center.
Will definitely recommend the hotel.

The Seki Cave Hotel is a magical place to stay. First, you begin your day early and get a quiet spot on the roof to watch the beautiful sunrise decorated with hot air balloons in the background. The buffet breakfast afterwards offers everything your belly ever wanted to start the day with! Then, you go one street down for a very special afternoon hike where only locals wander or go on an entertaining four wheeler tour. If you have any doubts on what to do, just ask the attentive hotel staff because they’re beyond sweet and patient with any requests and are truly there to help. The rooms are unreal since they are literally built inside caves and have this dreamy fairytale vibe to them, especially the elegant bathrooms tubs! Cappadocia is a memory I’ll never forget, but Seki Cave Hotel made it all the more precious. I miss Turkey already. 😌

Amazing staff . This is one of the best customer service experiences I ever had. Manager and rest of the staff ensured that we were comfortable with absolutely everything. They also are very genuine people, they honestly care for your well being, there are no fakeness or pretend to be with staff in this hotel. Rooms: we stayed in 2 different rooms and both were just great and can satisfy different customer taste. More luxurious room has giant private terrace with spectacular views, spa bathtub was a great addition as well. Cave room has its charm and gives u a complete Cappadocia experince. Location: that's the best part of this hotel besides of amazing view to the valley and caves this hotel located outside of major tourist places in the smaller town that is less visited, at least for a long visits. You only going to see atv tours stopping there for a short while. If you looking to stay in quiet place this is the place for it. Overall we came in a little more sceptical about staying in Cavusin town, but it turned out to be the best thing that happened to us since location is exactly what we looked for quietness and peace

We loved everything about Seki Cave Suites!
From the location, to the rooms, to the wonderful staff and even the cats and dogs that roam in and near the property.
First of all, the location. This is arguably one of, if not the best location for hot air balloon sightings.
The balloons literally fly over the property, sometimes low enough that you can touch them!
As long as the balloons fly, you are guaranteed to have a great time sightseeing right at your (hotel room) doorstep. But for an even better experience and view, you can climb up the hill on top of the property to see the balloons preparing for flight and slowly ascend and eventually fly overhead! There is no other word to describe it but MAGICAL!
Note though that the hotel is in Cavusin, which is actually a good thing because it is quiet and peaceful but near enough so you can take a cab to Goreme center (which the hotel will gladly arrange for you) for less than 80 liras.
Secondly, the cave rooms. This in itself is an experience. Especially once you get to know the relevance of the caves in the area as actual living quarters for people in Cappadocia up until the 1950s). And Seki's cave rooms feel authentic and are huge!
Third and most importantly, the staff. They are the best! It would have been completely acceptable and understandable for a hotel with such a wonderful location to have staff members that are lukewarm or even slightly rude. After all, the location vis-a-vis the hot air balloons should be enough reason to choose this hotel regardless. But no. The staff is as wonderful, even moreso, than the location. You instantly feel welcome and well taken care of. They can (and did for us) arrange all the tours for you. They even paid for our cab ride to Goreme Center during our first night! Just awesome people!

We booked two rooms in Cappadocia Seki Cave Hotel based on their good reviews and their close proximity to the balloons take off and landing site.
They have limited rooms so book in advance.
This bed and breakfast hotel offers large superior cave rooms which are a cozy and warm with the best views.
It was freezing cold outside with strong winds but nice and toasty inside.
Breakfast is home baked and prepared fresh daily.
The staff really know how to take care of you and are conviently on hand if needed.

I had visited the Cappadocia region with my wife before. We went to this hotel on recommendation and we had a dream week. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness, service. The rooms and common areas of the hotel are very comfortable. It has a magical atmosphere that comes from an architecture that is compatible with both its location and the region in which it is located. Mert and his team were very helpful in other activities.
