We had a wonderful stay at Agama River Camp. The campsite is kept clean and tidy, the ablutions were also kept very clean. Its a beautiful camp site in a gorgeous location. My family and i really enjoyed it and we will go back!

The campsite was good, each with its own braai facilities, bin, lighting, tap and sink. Each site was private with wooden sheltering and the common ablution facilities were clean and original. Hot water was by means of donkey and was available from 18:00 to 20:00. Meals are available, but only with 10 days' prior booking (i.e. don't try to book... More

Great location. Excellent value for money. Love the bathrooms. Would have preferred more privacy as the farmworkers frequented the campsite without any clear indication of whether they are working or just use the campsite as a shortcut.

The stay dint start very promising, as a local Namibian I have visited a few lodges in this area and this one will not see me again. There are 3 dogs that jumps on you when you arrive and they occupy the couches in the lounge. When you eat in the dining room they come and beg for food. It... More

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay, what a beautiful location with lovely bungalows, each equipped with a private deck. The manager and the staff were very friendly and food very very good. We stayed for 2 nights and I would be happy to Return anytime. Thump

Our car broke down close to Agama River Camp. The amazing staff towed us to the camp, helped us to organise support, tried to fix the car, called everyone around to try find the missing piece. Furthermore, they offered to camp without charge, we were allowed to use their phone, kitchen, wifi, washing facilities and even the pool area. I... More

Our original plan was to stay at Agama River Camp for one night on our way to Sossusvlei, but after seeing the location and the facilities we decided to spend two nights there. In general the connection between the indoors and the outdoors at this place are great. The lodge has a couple of decks to see the sunset and... More

We happened to stop one evening to camp at agama river and were thoroughly impressed. The camp sites were spacious, wind protected and equipped with water lighting, braai and excellent shower and bathroom facilities. The bar was big and well stocked for such a remote location. The management was very attentive and friendly. There was lots of gorgeous wildlife in... More

The place is simple in the middle of dramatic wilderness. You do not expect service in such a place. But the staff makes magic in taking care of us and other guest. The waiters were even making a personal show after dinner, really lovely.

We requested the camp site for two days, and it comes with a fully equipped option - our tent was perfectly set up prior to our arrival. There are sinks with water and a place to set up camp fire right at the site which was convenient. There was also a light source which you can attach to your car... More
