The Alba Hotel is a-ma-zing! From the service, to the room furnishings, to the public spaces everything seems to have been well thought out with impeccable execution. A big huge thank you to the service team who made the stay memorable. Definitely recommending this hotel to all visiting Meru County.
This must be the best hotel in Meru.... Our stay with my family was short... We dint even want to leave. Very clean rooms, good hospitality, well organised and friendly staff, serene environment. We are very grateful. Probably consider to have a heated pool for the early morning swimmers and small kids and probably a meal plan other than Bed and Breakfast. I will give this hotel 5full stars
Being my first time in Meru after a road trip via Nanyuki, I must say I was not expecting such a beautiful hotel in Meru. Thanks to google I found this gem. Rooms are clean and look so pretty. Food is five star and the Staff are friendly. Swimming pool is clean and there is a gym. I cannot wait to go back.
It was my first time in Meru town and had no idea where to find find decent hotel. I am grateful for google for directing us to Alba. Had a great stay at Alba, very friendly staff, amazing decor, good food and homey vibes. Will definitely be coming back!
Just spent 3 nights at The Alba Hotel and I really loved the architecture of the hotel, the serenity and tranquility at night as well as the very responsive service staff! Excellent conference room “the loft” as well as the Board room. Everything worked just as it should. The a la carte menu is also quite impressive. The pork ribs are a must try!
I have been there several times, unfortunately very bad service. a lot of disrespect I suggest you go there if you want to ruin your night. Imagine you went there for a birthday party, you invited your friends, and after an hour and twenty minutes they brought you food with your protest, and unfortunately, they forgot to bring your guest food, the waiter disrespectfully tells you, this mistake for the chef, The supervisor says indifferently that it will happen, and when you wait for you to be explained, they bring the bill and they will laugh.
This was our second time at Alba; the first time was about 2 years ago on our way to Nanyuki. We can confidently say that we have enjoyed our short stay. Booking was smoothly done online via their website, and we confirmed the same a day before arrival. We got to Meru a little earlier than check-in time, but we still managed to get a quiet corner for virtual work, and by 12.10pm, Sophy K at the reception desk had us all settled into a quiet, spacious, neat, and clean room on the 1st floor. From the coffee, to dinner (please try their chicken tikka masala), to breakfast, and lunch, it has been professionalism, luxury, and attention to a T from . Our highlights: -- Hot water showers with great pressure. -- Beautiful interiors (the lighting is incredible and greenery outside. -- Generous and affordable portions of food. -- House-keeping closed our windows, and warmed our sheets with hot water bottles! -- Cinnabar Green body wash! OMG! -- We requested for later check-out, and that was hospitably handled too. -- Covid protocols are observed all around, with several reminders of the same. We have enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Alba.…
Was not particularly overjoyed by stay this time round as i would've like to. Perhaps it was because of the renovations that were being carried out. The swimming pool and gym were out of bounds and so were the nice rooms facing the hills. The security vetting at the gate can be monotonous especially for those on long stays:-guards insist on recording one's particulars on a daily basis. The food, while speedy and delicious, was not commensurate to prices one forks out- here am alluding to the portions served.(A meal worth 1500 will barely fill you up.) A steward at the restaurant could use some re-training. They were a tad bit overzealous in getting one's room number at breakfast prior to patrons locating tables. These seemingly temporary teething problems aside, ALba still remains the best hotel in Meru, bar none. Shall definitely be back.…
This has to be one of the best hotels in Meru. Pocket friendly with all the amenities you need. I found the staff very thoughtful always meeting the guest needs. Will defined be coming back. Highly recommended.
Amazing facility with very friendly staff. The rooms are amazing and the food too. Order your food in good time so that you can enjoy what the hotel has got to offer. Conference facilities are amazing however they are on 100% occupancy hence the need to book in good time.
