Stayed as a couple for one week. Very happy with the hotel and the staff were brilliant. Especially liked the Italian and Asian restaurants. Better cereals and yogurt at breakfast plus more fresh fruit selection would have been appreciated but overall first class.

Hotel's Favorite
Tldr: very nice hotel with great rooms, pools, space, food, and staff. Great views and will fit everyone's needs. A bit far away from activities outside the resort, and sometimes a bit crowded in the restaurants. 9/10 would love to stay here again. Pros: Nice, large and very clean rooms, also properly isolated against the music. A great view of the sea and La Gomera, Good service at the reception, restaurants and bars. Very nice people. Food is prepared well, A lot of choice for food every day, Possibility to eat and drink throughout the day (three meals, snacks, drinks including alcoholic), Good, clean and large enough pools (2 general salt water pools, one child pool, 1 salt water adult-only pool), A lot of choice where to sit, Little shopping mall at 5 minutes away for with a supermarket and drugstore. RECENT photos give an accurate representation of the quality (except for the size of the pools, which is still more than enough) Cons: Pretty remote from activities outside of the resort, so you will need taxis or prearranged transfers. Transfers can take a long time (1 hour) if you need to pick up people from other hotels, There are often too many people for the restaurants and evening entertainment area, Variation in food from day to day is sometimes a bit small, but it varies, Because of our short stay, we weren't able to make a reservation for a themed restaurant.

Whist staying at this hotel seen a man abuse his disabled wife and none of the hotel staff would bother to do anything to help her whist she’s crying outside, hotel looks nice but that’s where the good ends basically, there’s only a pool for the children, and nothing else, food is always the same been here for two weeks and it didn’t really change at all next to no desserts, entertainment is always the same every night, smells of weed at night, the night safe are very rude and don’t seem to want to help anyone but themselves, and don’t bother booking with TUI as they lied to us when making our booking, the only close activity to do is a water park that’s about 15 minutes away from the hotel everything else is about an hour or more, loads of banana trees around here and also got discriminated for not looking disabled whilst sat at a disabled table at dinner the other night, (I am mentally disabled) Will NEVER be staying here again.

The staff at the Hotel are exceptional and do abut their business with a smile. The facilities are very good and since our first visit 12 years ago Paraiso has developed into a clean thriving small resort. If there was a downside the food although ok is clearly being affected by budget restraints. Smoked salmon, prawns, chicken breasts and a carved joint have disappeared from the menu being replaced with cheaper alternatives. Would we return, of course we would and we will.

Hotel looks lovely, got told it would be a quiet hotel when booking but it is anything but, bar staff are lovely, day reception staff are great, food is very repetitive and not much variety for desserts either, my mentally disabled partner got discriminated by two workers in the buffet restaurant Yaiza, for sitting at an empty disabled table, the assistant manager was great and got it sorted for us, have not seen them the rest of our holiday, the night reception man Carlos I think his name was, isn’t the best can be nice when he wants to be but not always, you have to walk up hill to get to the shopping centre, great if your a women, not much for men up there, it is rather far from any activities the closest one is Siam Park which is a water park which is a 14 minute drive from the hotel, everything else is more or less an hour away, the beach isn’t the nicest very rocky, the bar in the reception stays open all night, they do put out sandwiches, burgers and hotdogs in the fridge around the side of the bar, there is a microwave there to heat them up but they don’t taste very nice, there is a free safe in the room, and a mini fridge, weird layout of the hotel starts on floor 4 then goes up to 8 for all the rooms and then down to 3 for the pools, restaurants and bar, entertainment is also hit or miss, and the activities they put on in the hotel sometimes don’t go ahead all depends on the weather and interest but they put the same ones on everyday nothing seems to change, The view is very nice out onto the sea,

This is my honest review and I hope this helps other families. Drinks aren’t very good , local brands only. Wine undrinkable as is the Baileys version , Cocktails from a slushy machine with no frills Lager is Amstel which often had a twang to it. The G & T was ok and we had that most of the week. You help yourself to soft drinks, wine , lager, coffee . They class the hotel as 24 hour all inclusive, drinks are served in the hotel bar , near reception late at night. There is some food in some fridges. A burger you heat up in a microwave and awful sandwiches. I think there should be better food available late at night especially for a 4 star hotel. The Buffet is very repetitive, the same food day after day , lunch and dinner the same. The quality of the meat should be improved as it was poor quality. Alot of pork and fish . The salads were nice and the cheese selection. We went to the Asian it was disappointing, sushi looked good , but everything else seemed greasy and meat again poor quality. The Alantico is bookable, but no waiter service just another buffet , nothing special . The breakfast was ok you will find something. Cereal is cheap , no cook to order omelettes. I noticed as a all inclusive family hotel , there was no lollies or ice cream around pool area only at lunch/dinner ice cream is available. Adult only pool was nice , but as usual people reserve them early morning and rock up at 1pm. Several other pools for children. There is no hotel shop, so if you run out of a essential , or want a paper you will have a good walk up steep hills . Not good if you have mobility issues . The hotel itself is built on a slope and can be a issue for mobility. The entertainment is hit and miss, that should be improved . No music after 10.45pm sometimes 10.30pm Rooms clean and bed comfortable. Free safe. The hotel is isolated a few bars around , but nothing much. 15.00 euros to Fannabe by taxi. There is a bus if you can climb the hill . The beaches either side of the hotel aren’t the best . Very stoney and water was quite dangerous, no lifeguards. We would like to return one day , but only if I read that drink , food quality has improved .

Firstly, I’d like to say I’m in agreement the majority of reviews on here overall an excellent hotel and value for money! We are Day 9/10 and preparing to leave the hotel on the 2nd December. One of the biggest worries was about construction around the hotel and can confirm all works have been completed, as this posed a massive threat to our holiday, I even emailed the hotel prior to appease my concerns. The themed restaurants are great fairly easy to book Chinese/Italian/grill in that order for me grill is similar to what you get on a daily at Yaiza. Breakfast is better at Yaiza even though Atlantico is quieter services and little touches like coffee served to you are appreciated at Yaiza! Service on a whole very good from reception to bar staff to waiters in restaurants to a high standard. The room and hotel is vast and very clean, my kids love the room so spacious and has all the required amenities. We got lucky to be in room 356 great location to pools and restaurants. The hotel is a bit remote and taxis are required or fairly lengthy bus journeys to save money. However the local shops a stone throw from the hard rock and promenade is a lovely stroll and get away with typical sea side shops and bars restaurants etc. A handy small shopping centre at the top of the road is also nice to visit (Rosa Center). We are going to try the Indian today and by all accounts it’s very good! Mumbai Masala is voted the number restaurant in Playa Parisao… so as an Indian we will be well suited to judge that. Small improvements I think the local spirits alcohol isn’t the best… average but I came prepared with some better spirits from duty free. Also the cocktails are too sugary and slushy not tasty imo. The breakfast bacon is amazing French toast butter toast and fruit juices are natural and refreshing! The sausages aren’t the best prefer proper pork sausages not hot dog style, overall good selection of pastries too. Pool towels easy to change and all the pools are brilliant mostly heated apart from infinity very cold, good activities such as aqua volley and water polo. I believe the entertainment has been better than other hotels I’ve visited cabaret and some external acts too, worth a watch and the bars and area can get busy but overall we haven’t found it too bad. Really enjoying the break and to improve the hotel experience I would offer an improvement on the above which would sway me to book again and revisit! My first time in Tenerife and can see me and the family returning!

This was our second time after having started the previous November. We were given a large family room which was absolutely beautiful. Great pools, good for families and good for us and anyone else who prefer the adult areas to avoid the kids. Easy to book restaurants etc with the app. Like someone has said the room towels could be better quality but I imagine that they are like they are to make them easier to wash and dry to help the environment. Pool towels available, free safe. My only criticism as in my previous review is the beer is not very good, Amstel, very weak and was flat. A better quality beer would be a great addition. We have already booked for next November 2024. Definitely a great choice if prefer a hotel based holiday instead of going out. Well done RIU.

Booked a week visit for some winter sun. This was my first time to Tenerife. Nothing to do with the hotel but we booked with Tui and the transfer was about an hour and a quarter plus probably about another half hour hanging around for the coach so I’d recommend booking a taxi transfer. Positives of the hotel - Lovely position overlooking the ocean - Great views from nearly everywhere in the resort. Hotel is not overlooked or crowded - Small beach to the left of the hotel which can be accessed by a path using the exit by the Titanic pool. Tip, wear water shoes, it’s very stoney - Fabulous sunsets can be enjoyed by the pool bar - Drink stations where you can help yourself to beer, wine, hot and soft drinks - The resort is kept immaculately clean - Adult pool if you want to avoid screaming children - Lobby area is fantastic with vast seating areas - Evening entertainment was high quality - Walking distance to bars, shops and restaurants - House wines and Cava were very nice Negatives - Food was repetitive and average at best - Hardly any service in the restaurants and no coffee machines - Almost impossible to get a reservation at the a la cartes. Stayed up til midnight one night as told the bookings open up then. Able to get into the Italian (which actually was really good) but couldn’t get into Asian - The restaurant overlooking the sea was actually dreadful which is a shame as the views are amazing. The staff at the main buffet are always trying to divert people there and for breakfast they tell you it’s the same food but it isn’t and after making the mistake, we did not go back there - I found the cocktails vile. They are premixed and/or in slushy machines which were sugary and horrible. This is just my opinion. I can see others seemed to be enjoying them - Room towels were too small - Water in room not drinkable and despite there being a fridge, no bottled water in the room and had to get some from the lobby The positives far outweighed the negatives of this hotel. We had a great stay and for the price we paid, was very good value.
