From the moment we arrived by boat to this special little Island and to Serenity Resort you just knew it was going to be amazing and it did not disappoint. Greeted on the beach by Patti's smiling face and then led through beautiful tropical pathways to find our secluded accommodation in lovely beach fales. I was lucky enough to be...

Just spent a wonderful week at Serenity beaches and can highly recommend it for anyone wanting to really "get away from it all" and truly relax. There is no grid electricity, limited wifi and little in the way of formal activities but this, and the wonderful staff, help to make it more peaceful. A hot water shower was provided by...

What an incredible week we had at Serenity. The place is amazing. The staff were incredible and friendly and could not do enough for us. Patti is a gem. The accommodations were very comfortable with outdoor showers which were great. Meals were top notch and the whale swimming was an experience to remember for a life time. We practiced yoga...

We swam with whales, we practiced yoga, we met the very best people (staff and guests). Patty and Semi have created the most authentic Tongan experience you can have. We were part of a yoga/whale swimming retreat with theextramile.com a tour company out of Queenstown New Zealand. Highly recommend! We are now spending a week in a luxurious resort in...

I spent 7 nights at Serenity as part of a Yoga & Swimming with Whales retreat and can't wait to get back again. The beaches are flawless - white sand, turquoise water, no one else in sight. The food is amazing - fresh & filling, prepared with great care. The staff are fantastic - Patti makes you feel like family....

The location is perfect. The rooms are clean, but very basic. There is no power in the rooms, and showers consist of a solar shower. If you want a place to go to get away from it all, with good food, great snorkeling, whales etc then this is the place.

We stayed at Serenity Beaches resort in July 2016. There were 16 of us so it was the largest single group the resort had catered for. I loved it but it may not be everyone's idea of bliss. 1: we had STUNNING weather everyday - only rained at night. BIG plus 2: its an eco resort so - no electricity...

Located on Uoleva island and a 15 minute drive and 40 minute boat ride from the airport. The island has several small accommodation places and this is the biggest. This is a place to relax - swim, snorkel, kayak, read, walk around island etc and watch/ swim with whales in the season. Yoga and massage are available. Water is from...

This was an amazing 7 nights. The location is a 45 minute flight and a 45 minute boat trip from Tongatapu where the international flight arrives and worth every minute.
