We were looking for a very last minute glamping getaway to suit my partner and I, plus our 4 month baby and dog. Stephen suggested we try the Wigloo and what a treat it was! Spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable trip away from home! Stephen, the owner, was excellent - great communication during the booking process and... More

We spent four nights here, and it was the perfect place to explore the Lake District and surrounding areas. The gypsy caravan was charming and quaint. It was very comfortable to sleep in and the kitchen area was practical - we were able to be independent and cook our own meals. The area was rather remote, perfect if you want... More

Our first visit was last year & loved it so much we wanted to come back. Returned for a long weekend this July for hubbys birthday with our 2 year old son who has some developmental difficulties. Steve picked us up from, and dropped us back to the train station, which was a huge help. Stayed in a yurt this... More

Friendly , welcoming host who explained everything on arrival and was always about checking everything was ok. We enjoyed 2 nights in a lovely comfortable and spacious Yurt . Seperate kitchen and dining shelter well equipped. The site was quiet and peaceful by the side of the river watching geese and ducks landing in the evening was entertainment in itself.... More

Stayed for two nights in the Yurt I have to say it is one of the most calm and idyllic p Aces I have ever stayed. Wonderful accomodation. A great campsite that is very small next to the river Eden. The owners do everything to make you feel welcome a must for anyone who needs to recharge.

What can i say, the setting of the gypsy caravans and yhurt is amazing, relaxing and extremely well kept. We stayed in the yhurt for two nights for our anniversary, which was gorgeous, spacious, clean and had a lovely array of furniture and soft furnishing which enhanced the ambiance. When it rained (fortunately not too long) we sat on the... More

Lovely place, nicely secluded, very private, breakfast hampers great, hot tub a must, even with Cumbrian weather you can sit in your covered kitchen area and still be warm, the beds are so comfy, toilets and showers very quirky, lots of nice touches around the place, will definatly be going again.

We have just returned from a bank holiday weekend break in Evelyn - gypsy caravan. Both of us were in need of relaxation and we picked the right spot. Steve was really helpful and friendly gave us some tips on where to eat out and walks. Evelyn had everything we needed and was warm and toasty at night with the... More

My husband and I have just had our first stay in one of the Romany style gypsy caravans and we were blown away by the idyllic location and the attention to detail that the owner Steve has created to provide a peaceful and tranquil holiday setting. We were there for 2 nights and will definitely be going back again. It... More

Thank you for your great review. It is such a pleasure to be sharing Drybeck with our guests again after the devastation of the floods and to hear how much pleasure our guests are getting from this beautiful corner of Cumbria. Thank you again and we look forward to you coming back. Steve & Paula More

Just finished our 4th visit to Drybeck Farm and have to say it was as good as ever. Despite the flood damage caused at the end of 2015 the site has been restored and is just as good, if not better, than before. The yurt now has its own cookhouse which, although the previous shared cookhouse was good, does feel... More
