What a fantastic 2 nights we had here! The wonderfully eccentric dining room was such a lovely surprise when we first went in and the food prepared by Lisa was better than any I have had at any hotel or B&B. You HAVE to try the Cornish breakfast and Lisa's sublime American style pancakes (so good I got the recipe... More

Stayed for two nights at Salem House, and it was delightful.Very pretty feminine room , very private, with lots of detail everywhere, immaculately clean, and very comfortable bed. Lots of mirrors, cushions and elaborate draped curtains.Ensuite was functional and again spotless. So much thought gone into everything you may need in room, drawer contained torch, sewing kit, bottle opener and loads more.I had forgotten... Thank you Lisa for such a fantastic weekend in your beautiful B&B! We stayed for 2 nights and couldn't fault it. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room has its own entrance and parking space, which meant that we could enjoy complete privacy. We were treated to home made scones on arrival and the full... More

We stayed here for 2 nights & enjoyed every moment. We were welcomed by Lisa & had a cream tea waiting in our room. Room is beautifully dressed & clean, lovely comfortable bed & soft Egyption cotton bedding. Breakfast was without doubt the best we have EVER had. Lisa made us feel so welcome. Her attention to detail is impeccable.... More

Apologies for late review. This place is quite honestly the best place I've stayed. Eventually found it after a long drive down from North Wales after the satnav sent us to the cottage over the road. Lisa waited at the gate for us and showed us the room. The room itself is an extension of Lisa's home and is the... More

Thanks to Lisa for cream tea on arrival, fantastic accommodation and superb breakfast. Will definitely return when the occasion arises. The room itself was very comfortable with luxury furnishings and sky tv. A great escape away from everyday life

Just as described by previous 5 star reviewers...and the best B and B we have ever stayed in! We stayed for 3 nights and the welcome couldn't have been better. Cream Tea awaited us on our arrival and on the next morning, after the most fantastic breakfast, Lisa brought in a cake with a candle as it was my wife's... More

This is a superb B&B. Lisa is a great host and goes to great lengths to ensure guests have a great experience. The room is very quiet and beautifully furnished and the bed was big and very comfortable...slept like a log. Sky TV on tap. Breakfast was a real occasion...fresh fruit 4 or 5 types; full english cooked to order... More

Lisa is an extremely friendly, couteous and attentive lady. Cream tea on arrival (which was gorgeous) to this beautiful country retreat, is just the first indication of her attention to detail. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She is happy to share her vast knowledge of Cornwall, eager to ensure your stay is as pleasurable as possible. The accommodation... More

A beautiful house and area to stay in Cornwall. Accommodation was lovely, spotless and very comfortable. Lisa the owner is very welcoming and a great cook. She also has a wealth of information about the History of the Area and most if Cornwall. Can't wait to go back again next year, hopefully for longer this time! Xx
