Just arrived home from here which we stayed in a caravan, the location in a wooded area was stunning and the restaurant was good too. Only downside was there was no shop on the caravan sight which puzzled me because it could make a small fortune with being such a large caravan park and you had to drive to the... More

Impressive lunch... even more impressive prices! Had the pork and gammon pie with chips(2 meals for £12) Very generous amount of Pork. Perhaps a little more sauce in the pie would have secured a 5 star rating, chips were beautiful, condiments aplenty. Definitely coming back soon. Love this place!

The meal in the hotel was a bit of a let down, we had been previously and it was lovely but this year it was really poor! The caravan park is lovely and have some amazing views!!! It's a nice place if you like walking and exploring and want a quiet weekend away

The forested holiday park contains many caravans but the lay out is excellent and does not detract from a stay at the hotel. We stayed in the 'Forest Retreat' which are individual 'Pods' with all private facilities and kitchen area. This was great, but lacked some space around the 'bed'. Food at the hotel is EXCELLENT. The carvery looked good... More

One night stay on Welsh tour, as a base to visit Portmerion and the Ffestiniog railway, the hotel is situated a few miles out of town, high on a hill and surrounded by lots of mobile homes. Slightly abrupt welcome, we arrived at 20 to 3 and were told that check-in didn't open until 3, no suggestion that we might... More

My family and I were staying at a caravan on the park and decided to give the bistro a whirl... We were big disappointed! The steaks were possibly the best we have had, cooked to perfection served with mushrooms, tomato and chips.my son in law is very particular about his food so I was delighted that he enjoyed his gourmet... Stayed at Aberdunant this week and it was great. 5* service and the hotel is lovely. I stayed in room 5 that is classed as a single but has a double bed so was very comfortable. Food and staff were great and a relaxed dining experience was had. I'd recommend the steak on the stone...its a little bit of theatre... More

This is the second time I've visited for a walking break in Snowdonia with mates. The room was clean and comfortable, the only grip was that on returning to my room late at night the room was 'hotter than the sun' and the sash window would not open. The small plastic fan was useless at keeping me cool so I... More
