We stayed for two nights here & I cannot fault a single thing about this B&B. Alison is a fantastic host & has just got everything spot on when it comes to looking after her guests. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, from the cake on arrival, to the jug of fresh milk for the... More

Stayed for one night as we were visiting nearby Portmeirion. The welcome we received was second-to-none. Our room was quite small but immaculately clean and well-appointed. The en suite had an extra long bath which I enjoyed luxuriating in during the evening. Alison was very keen to make us feel welcome and her friendly yet professional style made us feel... More

Two nights in this lovely bed and breakfast. A warm welcome from Alison and some nice touches of cake on arrival locally brewed beer, chocolate and shortbread biscuits in the room. Plentiful supply on the tea tray and fresh milk. Great breakfast with lots of choice and very good quality produce. Room was comfortable with a great shower and toiletries.... More

My family and I were taking a weekend break in Wales for my brothers 40th. My mother (the organiser) booked everyone in to the travel lodge.... But I decided, to have a bit of a shop about. I found Bwlch Y fedwen purely by accident. It was cheaper and looked nice enough so I decided to give it a go.... More

Just stayed for another lovely weekend. Can't rate this B&B highly enough. Alison is the perfect hostess and she thinks of everything to make your stay very comfortable and welcoming. Lots of lovely little touches in the rooms from gorgeous hand wash/cream to freshly made cake, welsh ale and daily supply of shortbread. Very clean and welcoming rooms and the... More

We stayed here for two night. Absolutely first class, the room we had was perfect. They had thought of everything, comfortable, clean and so beautiful. Breakfast was amazing, catered for all tastes. The decking area was lovely with stunning views of Moel Y Gest. Would highly recommend here Cannot wait to return!

Booked this place because couldn't find anywhere else ... But so glad we did. Everything was great. Lovely house in lovely location (quiet!) . Host was wonderful & friendly. Lovely room (however some cleaning was needed under the bed!) ... Few extra "perks" were left for us in the room. Free wifi given. Breakfast was ace! .... Would definitely stay... More

Stayed here last year. Lovely B&B with a welcoming host. Great room with everything you need including small fridge with fresh milk which I've never come across before. Quaint breakfast room in which there's everything you need including the cooked breakfast you've asked for the night previous (form you fill in which you leave hanging outside your room). Would definitely... More

We stayed here for a nine days and the location was great for our adventures. The room was well equipped for all your needs - and meticulously clean. Rooms are not 5 star hotel rooms but more homey and comfortable. Breakfasts choices were plentiful. Alison is very organized and a good cook! The eggs are collected every morning from the... More

Would give it 5 stars but for the proximity to the highway, which means some rooms can be noisy. VERY friendly and helpful host! Great breakfast. The rooms are very well done and well equipped. Location is great for your visit to Portmeirion ( or even Caernarfon). And Molly (if she doesn't greet you on arrival ask for her!) is... More
