My husband and I had an amazing time at Gillham Vineyard. The staff were very friendly and always doing their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The pool was very clean and sunbeds were always available. We had a lovely room (Beaujolais) and on the last night we was very kindly upgraded to a Rose room, the views were just spectacular, especially in the Rose room where you got a birds eye view of the whole vineyard. We had an fab time and will certainly be returning! Thank you to everyone who was so lovely during our stay.
What an amazing place. The location is excellent and the views from the Rose Suites are wonderful. The food at the tapas bar, main restaurant and breakfast is just amazing. The breakfast in particular is a wonderful feast. All of the staff were attentive, courteous and there when you needed them. Last word for Mehmet who organised our stay and was on hand to attend to anything we needed arranging. We will definitely be back.
It has been my first time staying at Gillham in their Rose Suite. Excellent location, impeccable service, breath-taking views..the breakfast service requires a separate comment-it is individually serviced with a variety of choices and it is simply delicious. The pool area is quiet and their music playlist is wonderful. Am I going back? Yes, next week :)
This was our second time at Gillham hotel. This place is beyond any expectations! The rooms are spacious, stylish and sparkling clean. The food is amazing, and the warm hospitality makes all the difference! You feel like home at the moment you step your foot in this magical, one of a kind place. Can’t wait to come back again!
This has to be Cyprus' best kept secret and part of me hopes it remains that way so the prices don't skyrocket... We stayed in the Sparkling suite and simply adored it. Highlights include: - The breathtaking natural beauty of the mountains, valley and vineyard. You can see the sea, hear the birds and it smells fresh and lucious - Unique spa where you can have a "wine bath" and I'm sure they gave us a longer massage than we paid for! - DELICIOUS food. I can barely choose a favourite! This is a foodies paradise. The steak, shrimp, pasta, ceviche, salads - all brilliant. The breakfast is amazing too, everyone gets mezze, bread, fruit and (todiefor) brownies as standard and then you can order french toast or omelettes etc. on top. - Obviously the wine is fantastic, too! We enjoyed a tour and our favourite was the Gillham Red (my husband actually said it is his favourite red wine ever, high praise). Although it is a few details away from being quite the international luxury standard (shower is a bit hot/cold for example, and there are a few small things that could be fixed) there is nothing that can't be overlooked given the charming staff and completely gorgeous setting, and all at such an affordable price compared to what you might pay elsewhere! We were given a Whatsapp for contacting staff before we arrived too, which made all the arrangements so easy (e.g. Crossing the border from Greek Cyprus to Turkish Cyprus). They truly went above and beyond when we were there as well, helping us get a hire car (and change its tire!), for example. We didn't want to leave! And hope to return! Thank you to all at GVH <3…
My husband and I joined our friends for a luxury overnight stay and wine tasting. We liked it so much so that we were planning our next visit before we’d finished checking out from our first. We received a very warm welcome on arrival, followed by a particularly generous wine tour and tasting. This turned out to be very informative and great fun trying to distinguish between the different elements when tasting a wine. We enjoyed some time in the hammam before getting ready to join our friends for dinner in the private dining room. The food was exquisite and we really enjoyed the chef’s personal appearance to detail the food. The accommodation was both luxurious and calming. We cannot pick fault with any aspect of our stay and we look forward to returning later in the year!…
A magical place with excellent food and breathtaking views. The food was excellent, service excellent, wonderful massages. We enjoyed every minute and we will definitely be back there again as soon as possible
We, a couple, arrived here for a 4 day vacation. We must say that everything was top notch, starting from the lovely service by everyone, to the great and well crafed dinners, and fantastic rooms. On top of everything else they were very helpful with everything we had asked them such as car rental, tours around the area and general information. We can't reccommend them enough and we will be back for sure!
We stayed for six nights in a White room. The room was v comfortable with a little terrace overlooking the mountains behind the hotel. We spent our days walking - there are some good routes from the hotel. We hired a car for three days which the hotel sorted for us and that allowed us to venture further afield. We also used the hotel gym daily which was v well equipped with good quality equipment - air bike, rower, 2 treadmills, smith machine and dumbbells. It was too cold to swim but the pools looked great. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - though on our last day we had breakfast at the bakery/cafe in the village which I would highly recommend. In the evenings we ate at both the hotel wine bar and restaurant. Food was excellent and the wines from the vineyard were great accompaniments. Service across the hotel was a delight. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others.…
