We just stayed for one night but would easily have stayed for the week. The room at the top of the house was bright and airy and had a good sized turreted balcony with stunning views. All members of staff and owners were welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable using local produce.

Really warm welcome. Gorgeous period house with antics and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Lovely views across estuary. So friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended! Ben, Sarah & Rose

We were looking forward to getting a Premium room with a sofa but disappointed on check in to learn that there was a water leak and the room booked was out of order We were given a room in the attic which I was surprised did not have any lounge chairs so all we could do was sit on the...

A quiet but friendly retreat with a personal service. The best breakfast. Well presented rooms & facilities, the bar is a lovely refuge. It's worth asking about food if you with a group they will lay on an evening meal but this is a convenient location for sight seeing & other eateries.

Stayed here for a two night break. We stayed in a side room with a double aspect over the grounds and a glimpse of the river. The house is set in lovely gardens, with a long access road. The house itself is a lovely Edwardian house with period features. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. On arrival, we...

This is a gem, lovely owners great breakfast but unfortunately no restaurant. Do not go to the Durrant Hotel (the restaurant is the Olive Tree) up the road for dinner. It is a coach holiday hotel, the food is dire and will ruin your holiday.

Arrived for a one night stay, we got there late on a Sunday, the owner couldnt have been more helpful in ensuring we got a taxi straight away so we could find somewhere to eat. The room was lovely, the gardens were also lovely to walk in( even in drizzle!), overall the owners made our short stay faultless. We will...

We had three nights at Yeoldon House recently and found the hotel to be an absolute delight in every way. The owners and staff are charming, cheerful and happy to help and advise on every aspect of your stay in the area. Our stay was broken into two nights and then a return nights stay a couple of days later,...

My wife picked this for a surprise weekend for ua both, and it was a delightful 2-night stay over a weekend. The full English was amazingly lightly cooked - it did not sit heavy at all. The fixtures and fittings are almost baroque, and the old house has satisfyingly creaky floorboards here and there to add to the charm. It...

Lovely secluded setting with beautiful gardens. Friendly and helpful hosts. Nice room although the bathroom was a bit poky with a very small wash basin. Would certainly stay there again. Just a shame they don't do evening meals.
