As I was laid up with a bad foot I couldn't take advantage of the numerous activities and treatments available. But sitting in the room-terrace jacuzzi gazing out at endless forest, I wasn't really that bothered. The centrepiece is the large pond full of huge fish in the courtyard by the restaurant, 360 degree views, enthusiastic staff, live piano in... More

I selfishly don't want to review Phu Chaisai as I want to keep it all to myself! Alas... It's not mine to keep but rather to enjoy and share. Enchanting in every way, this charming mountain resort provides the perfect backdrop to a peaceful escape from the hectic demands of city life. After a short 1h10 min flight from BKK... More

My only complaint is I didn't stay longer. After several months of travelling around Asia Phu Chisai was my last place to visit before heading back to Europe. In some ways a good thing as I wouldn't have left there to go anywhere else if it had been the first place. You are out in the mountains with nothing to... More

The environment is tranquil yet so cheerful, I like the feeling like this. Service is good, facilities are all good kept. I feel so relax of staying here, but not sure why the signal is quite weak here.

My first visit to Phu Chaisai was almost ten years ago and I did not hesitate to book the hotel for my trip to Chiang Rai. When I arrived, everything was the same as my first visit, which I could not say if it was good or bad. But I would really recommend a better upkeep to preserve the resort's... More

12 years ago, it was my first time to stayed with Phu Chai Sai , then I return last year. just because I miss it. Still same warm, charm, and spectacular. for people who are not familiar with the material bamboo may not image the benefit and difficulty of uses. Benefit is usually for the legend, story and some commercial... More

This nature resort property radiates the compassion and eco-focus with which the owners have built and cared for it. An incredible variety of birds and orchids abound, while leisurely walking around the central resort property. Spa therapists are highly skilled and the spa therapy rooms (1 with air con and another with open air facility) welcome you to immediately relax... More

We read about this hotel on an article on Back to nature hotels and we booked straight away. It is as incredible as it looks on the pictures. It is composed of huts on the mountain, all made with bamboo and the entire resort is made with natural materials which is lovely. The restaurant and the lobby are just magical,... More

This luxury mountain resort offers spectacular views over the northern Thailand mountain area. When travelling from November - March it is highly recommendend to have warm clothes (sweater, pullovers) at hand. The nights are cold and dinner and breakfast are served in a outdoor restaurant.
