We stayed here for a couple of nights before going into the city and absolutely loved it. We wanted nature, but still close to convenience and with a pool. This was perfect. The little resort is owned and run by a family, the loveliest people! We stayed in a deluxe hut, which was beautifully designed and decorated. All the huts are repurposed rice barns, and the grounds have been planted with loads of trees and ferns to almost resemble a small piece of jungle. Breakfast is cooked at a scheduled time each morning, and although there is no on site evening meals, we found some fantastic restaurants a short Grab ride away. Our whole family really enjoyed our stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fern Paradise.

Pro - Lush fern garden which is a small tropical paradise - Only a few villas, therefore boutique character - Spacious villas - Very attentive and personalised service - Breakfast is served on demand depending on your schedule Con - Hotel is situated next to a big highway (lots of noise depending on amount of traffic) - Lack of cleaning - Smell of urine (around the toilet) - Bathroom needs maintenance (shower is molded for example) - Mattress needs replacement - Smaller villas are quite close together, lack of privacy, but might be good for a group - No real restaurant (they serve some Thai dishes on demand, but they lack taste unfortunately) - No restaurants nearby

My boyfriend booked a 2 nights stay for my birthday, om was very thoughtful and got a birthday cake:) when we were back from our excursion, he texted my boyfriend if we would like the cake then or next day.. om is really helpful, he managed to arranged a last min elephant rescue camp excursion for us (normally, that will need advance booking). Fern paradise is indeed a wonderful experience. Bring our first time staying in a nature enviroment resort, we were really glad we chose to stay here:) Thank you om!!

This place is truly paradise!!! You feel as if you are staying smack in the middle of the jungle. The sounds of all of the different animals is indescribable. The amount of scenery and natural life that surrounds the grounds seems endless. The caretaker of the place, Om is such a calm and peaceful guy. Om gave us rides to the local area, made/served us breakfast every morning, and put us in touch with our driver Pong- who we ended up using our entire stay because he was such a joy! I would recommend this place to anyone. It is truly an amazing experience staying here. I hope to be back one day!!
