If you're reading these reviews then it means you're seriously considering coming here and I would highly recommend. I stayed for a week and what an eventful week. The day is filled with yoga, meditating and workshops (these are optional). Nothing is forced, it's very laidback and there's time to reflect, do your own thing or even go swimming down the road. You'll experience kinds of yoga taught by various teachers who have their own style, each yoga class begins or ends with a meditation, lots of props are provided to assist you if needed. The yoga teachers are very warm, friendly, are very helpful in supporting your yoga practice and are open to answering any questions. The food here is incredible, I salivate thinking about some of the food that was served here. There is always a good choice to choose from, and room enough for seconds. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Laundry is offered here, should you need it. Suan Sati itself was a wonderful place to spend the week at. Everything has been very well thought out, towels, mosquito net, individual reading light, power points, draws under the beds, hooks, your own torch for the evenings. Outdoor rails and washing lines to hangs clothes. The outdoor showers are very well done, so much space and plenty of options to put your things down on. There are chill out areas, slack lines for beginners and those who are more advanced. I loved my stay and the people here are incredible and very generous. I would definitely come back here given the opportunity. Namaste!!!

Suan Sati is so much more than a yoga retreat in Northern Thailand. It is also a place where people from all over the world can come together to rediscover their own inner light and to become a better version of themselves. Everyone here radiates kindness, compassion, and positivity in a powerful and deeply inspirational way. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled quite a lot so far in my life, but never have I come across a place as special as Suan Sati. I am beyond grateful for the amazing friendships that were formed during my six days here and for the self-development that took place. Will, Lisa, Natasha, and all the other staff members have succeeded in creating a beautiful space unlike any other. They taught us to open our minds and our hearts to ourselves, to each other, and to the world. For that I will be eternally grateful, and I plan to return to this amazing place in the not-too-distant future.

I spent only 3 nights there and still connected so well with the place and the people. The vegan food is amazing, best breakfast I ever had and you even get good coffee there. Although you get up at 5.30 the schedule is quite relaxed, especially when they're not holding the fixed 6 days retreats, so there's lots of time to read, chat and relax. Unfortunatetly there is a heavy air pollution during burning season in the Chiang Mai region in March and April, so I highly recommend to check online before travelling there. This year (March 2019) Suan Sati even decided to close for a few days because it was that unbearable!

I am very impressed by everything there. The yoga class, the mindfulness session, the place, the food and the people. I am a meat lover and never been a vegan but I don't miss any food else during my stay. The teachers are nice and willing to share. I would say the Winter retreat is like a yoga buffet, you could try so many different kind of yoga dishes during 6 days. U can always find the element u like and keep going when u home.
