Ever slept in a castle? This is the opportunity to do so. We slept in a comfortable and clean room with well equiped bathroom. Tha castle is located on top of the hill, and with a few steps you are in 'downtown' Bovino. A very nice small town. Breakfast is good. Normally the place is very quiet, but during the...

You can make your dream true. Nice mediaeval castle B&B with only 4 rooms. From outside it looks like stepping back in time. Rooms are modern and nicely decorated, great bathroom! Breakfast was standard but nicely prepared. Memorable walking back at night!

The locatie on top of the hill and the village is great. It's a very well restored castel with spacious, nice rooms. Very helpfull and nice staff. The village of Bovino is quiet, nice en gives a sent of the real Puglia. It's a five minutes walk to the centre.

Beautifiul location and landscape. Our room - the marraige suite - was gorgeous, huge. The staff is very congenial and willing to help. It's a short walk down the hill to the interesting town of Bovino. Definitely a must stay if sleeping in a castle is on your bucket list.

Driving up the hill and through the gates of the castle are the first amazing impressions when arriving to Residenza Ducale. And then it got even better. The host expected us outside the castle, showed us where to park and helped us with the luggage. The receptionist was so friendly, efficient check-in, offering us a welcome coffee and fruit juice...

Most extraordinary place to stay, one's castle. Reception & staff are most welcoming. Wake up to choir's & ringing bells in an otherwise quiet Roman village. Very interesting places to visit - Castello Ducale, Cattedrale, Muse Civico. A must is the Osteria - Ndo'Save'rie Lu Conte for a gourmet of local foods produced & prepared by Saverio, the Michelangelo of...

What a surprise. This was the beginning of a two week stay in Italy. After leaving here we traveled from Capri to Lake Como staying in 4 Star Hotels in every stop. Our favorite by far is Residenza Ducale. The room was so spacious, the bed the best of all, and the bathroom with a heated floor was an added...

We had a massive bedroom and had a chance to see some of the other rooms that were just as big, individually decorated keeping the character of the building. The breakfast was Italian style with plenty to chose from. There is no reception at night but with our keys we were free to come and go as we pleased. Michele...

One of our favourite stopovers during a 1,500 mile cycling trip of Italy, even if it did involve a 5 mile climb to its spectacular hilltop location.A beautiful apartment in an atmospheric medieval castle, a real experience. We loved the tunnel and gateway down into the town, felt as if we were in some historical drama.Stunning views and a picturesque village,...
