Staff were okay to deal with. Too laid back. No urgency. Room service was okay. The ocean view is barely a view and the room was rundown, fan not working, jug not working and toilet running out of water to flush. Overpriced accomodation. Should be more like $50-$100 per night max. Breakfast is only water melon, banana pawpaw and toast....

A very comfortable and quiet place with fantastic service. All the staff were helpful and awesome, would love to go back! Hired a car which was dropped to the hotel for us and travelled for a day which was enough for us, we really enjoyed the beach and the rock pool was so cool!

We stayed at the Liku'alofa in late January. We were lucky enough to get the honeymoon fale with air con which was very welcomed. The beachfront fale are right on the beach and they have all the basics. You have to get used to to insects and critters to appreciate the real Tonga. We hired a rental car and I...

Located on the northwestern edge of the island, the huts are excellent. I'd recommend having a rental car if staying here, and you can easily explore the entire island by yourself. There is a great beach just north of this hotel, and the blowholes are a short drive away. This is not a resort, but a nice mid-range get away...

Go for the fire dances. Best I've seen. The young woman w the poi was fabulous and the young man also. The food is good - a huge variety - and the service helpful. The tone can be a little patronising/educational but the dances as I understand are traditional and genuine. Many many Tongans there so a great community night....

We visited this resort twice. The first time for the Wednesday night cultural show. We really enjoyed this and felt it was great value for money. Highly recommend.... But... we came back on a Sunday night for a meal, what a terrible experience. Luckily there was a nice view as we waited for an hour and fifteen minutes for our...

I had no idea the food and floor show could be as good as it was. Everything about this place was first class. We will be back. I gave seen many cultural shows but the dancing, singing and fire show are comparable with anywhere.

We booked for 2 days only. The resort people including owner Peseti were so welcoming. They are a bit relaxed so you need to get used to that way of life. Tongans are humble and quiet mannered. The cultural night was excellent and rivals overseas cultural nights in NZ. It involved stories of the ancient Tongans and involved dances from...

Tonga is the ideal pacific paradise if you want to chill out and really rest in Paradise. Likualofa offers what some travellers might consider to be basic accommodations when compared to other resort style luxuries..don't expect Pacific RESORT flash and fake ...just enjoy the best of simple Tonga style here ...for us this was the beauty of the place. Had a great week, staff amazing friendly and helpful esp. Sarah and Nancy although others good too. Bar/dining super area, food mostly great, show (which we did twice) Fab!!! Gardens lovely, although rubbish around. Units a bit sad, but adequate, snorkling ok. Isolated, but that a positive, buses, transport available. True Island experience without a huge price tag. Loved it!!!
