The house itself is fabulous, like a listed monument, and contains plenty of old/antique items. Unfortunately, it is in a vivid decline. The restaurant - once upon a time one of Germany's leading restaurants - is already closed. The room was clean, but not spotless. The waste paper basket contained the refutes of the previous guests, the coat hangers in... More

we stayed in the Traube on our first night in Germany and had a very pleasant stay. It's conveniently located next to restaurants in the small town and has a nice atmosphere. We were therefore pleased that we had already booked to stay there on our return for the airport on our last night 9 days later. We hd booked... More

The Traube Hotel is 7 to 8 minutes away from the airport by bus so save some money and catch the No 79 bus and ask for Plieningen Post, (the hotel is well sign posted in the village). When you get off the bus walk back towards the two restaurants opposite each other, for about 100 meters and keep to... More

On a spontaneous dash to Stuttgart we decided to spend the night. I booked the Traube through my mobile at the last minute. We chose on purpose something outside the city and were very satisfied with our choice. We had a quiet and large, well lit and well equipped room. It's effort toward charm were rather German and heavy handed,... More

What a gorgeous little hideaway set in a lovely little village! The decor inside & out was amazing. We stayed here for 3 nights for the Stuttgart Oktoberfest & couldn't find any fault whatsoever! Very helpful & friendly staff, very clean spacious rooms cleaned daily & breakfast was great at a very cheap price. Free WiFi was available with excellent... More

A very nice small hotel in the centre of a pretty village. Nice clean room, a little small but en-suite. No restaurant but plenty of options to eat in the village. Very quite so you get a good nights sleep. Very good breakfast. Well worth staying if you are en-route. Only 10 mins from Stuttgart airport.

Stayed at this hotel for the first time and it seems that also for the last time. The room was spacious although not at all romantic. The buildings seem to be more romantic on the outside than on the inside. On a hot day you really feel the lack of air-conditioning, since the adjacent busy street will not allow you... More

Clean but small room with good bed. Obliged to go to breakfast room to work on internet. Good breakfast but no restaurant. Despite the fact that it is near the messe, I do not recommand this hotel for business purpose
