Stayed for two nights in order to visit Monet's gardens two miles down the road in Giverny. Our room - the Pink Room upstairs - had an en suite shower but the loo was adjacent to the room and shared with the other guest couple upstairs. It worked fine. We opted for Christiane's breakfast which was super and great value... More

The hostess was amazing and gave us lots of help locating a restaurant for evening meal. The rooms were very comfortable and had lovely views over the garden. Breakfast was well worth the money and was fresh and appetising. Altogether highly recommended.

The place is in apparently desert village, in the countryside, with nice garden that I believe will be much appreciable in the summer and it is very close to monet foundation (5 minutes by car). So during the day the life is more lively and many tourists come to monet Foundation. My room, the pink room, was nice and confortable.... More

As others have said, this is a lovely place to stay. My room had bags of charm; although it wasn't en suite, I believe I had exclusive use of the very big bathroom downstairs which had a lovely big bath. Breakfast was also very enjoyable and Christiane was extremely welcoming. The only downside was that the bed was too soft... More

Very convenient location to Giverny although tucked away in a village 5 minutes away from Monet's gardens.. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home by Christiane with a much needed coffee and fresh croissants with home made jam. House is beautiful, set in a lovely garden surround where breakfast is served when weather permits. Parking... More

This small b&b (what we'd call a "chambre d'hôtes" in French) is tucked away in a bucolic village setting. The town is adjacent to Giverny (where Monet's house and gardens are), and on the other side is La Roche-Guyon, on an idyllic part of the Seine River with an interesting castle carved into the limestone cliff. The residence is charming,... More

Christiane is an awesome hostess! Wow! All praise is dead-on. The B&B is so welcoming, immaculate and with great character. A true French village delight! The 5 euro breakfast is lovely with fresh baked breads and omelets. I would love to return!

We got a bit lost trying to find this b&b. It feels further away from Giverny where we originally wanted to stay, then we thought. The house with its drive and super friendly owner makes up for it. She is so friendly you'd wish she was one of your family! She speaks very good english too. The room was quite... More

This is a lovely setting, very homey, and Christiana is a wonderful hostess. The breakfast is fantastic. One suggestion, while our room had it's own shower and sink, we had to share a toilette with another room. If each room had it's own toilette, this charming B & B would be really outstanding. Also, the map on the website is... More
