From walking in the door to reluctantly leaving this Chateaux and the hosts were exceptional. The history of the Chateaux is a heartwarming tale, and the hospitality of Stefan and Leila were first class. The wonderful original features are enhanced by the extremely comfortable room...More
Gorgeous period property, in a large park with swimming pool. Our hosts Stephane and Laila were fabulous, a warm welcome and they act like we are guests in their home. And their home is beautiful, a chateau with a romantic story, it is now a...More
Beautiful chateau with modern bedrooms, quirky deco but retaining a lot of the original features - all very pleasing. The hosts Stefan and Leila were very welcoming and had lots of advice about things to do in the area. The meal we had one evening...More

Thanks for your message... I think the guys who own the chateau have bicycles you can rent. Its a short distance to the village, , though its quite a sleepy village. There is a bit more to see and do in Mussidan, which is a 4km away. The grounds are really lovely and there is a good pool, so great just to hang about there. There is a good train line going through Mussidan which takes one direct to Bordeaux or Perigueux both of which are worth a visit. I think you'll be fine in June... generally April to October, is really nice weather. Have fun Andrew
