We wanted to escape the city life for a weekend and came across this beautiful lodge! We stayed in a lot of places both across Ireland and abroad and this is by far the best B&B lodge we have ever stayed in. It definitely exceeded our expectations! We had the pleasure to stay for 2 nights in the little cosy apartment and needless to say we were extremely gutted we couldn’t stay longer. The apartment was perfectly warm which was great since the weather wasn’t great and it was lovely to come back to after a walk. The apartment was extremely clean and I fell in love with the interior unique design and the homely touch to it. Everything you need and more is provided (beautiful kitchenware, fresh towels etc) but what was such a lovely touch was the little things that were there- a cute box of blankets, DVD’s and even a whole bookshelf full off interesting books to choose from which I thought was extremely nice touch from the owners! Vincent welcomed us and made us feel like home from day 1 and he is an excellent host, he gave us a lot of tips on where to go hiking, what to see and where to get food which were all spot on choices. Even though the weather was typically rain for the entire time we had the most fabulous experience and we enjoyed every moment. And let’s not forget the beautuful dog Chase who is the main attraction (we spent a lot of time sitting and rubbing his belly)!:) We will certainly make this a more frequent visit when we decide to get away for the weekend again and we would recommend every aspect of this stay if you are considering to visit. Thank you Vincent & Joeann!

Lovely place, very helpful with cheaper options for the tourist attractions. Very good location. A very large room and an even bigger bathroom. We stayed only 1 night but we wish it had been longer. Loved it

I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Vincent was a brilliant, friendly, warm and funny host. The place was immaculately clean, and so well laid out. The photos provided don’t do the beauty of this location justice! The breakfast room is so cosy and clean with gorgeous views of the Atlantic right in front of the B&B. Vincent was so helpful and even dried out clothes for us in his drier when we had put them on the line. An expert touch! His place will be my first stop when I go back to the West!

The room was very spacious, the breakfast was lovely and there’s a great view out the front window when having breakfast! It’s a short walk to the cliffs so we saved on paying for parking! They also have the cutest and friendliest dog!

We stayed in the Island View B & B in their deluxe apartment for one evening on our trip out to the Cliffs of Moher. The apartment was very cute and updated. It was nice to have access to a full kitchen and laundry. We were able to walk directly to the Cliffs of Moher (which are amazing) and saved on parking costs. I would highly recommend this property. They also have the world's cutest and friendliest dog.
