McGann's served the most delicious beef stew I had during our trip, certainly one of the best meals I had overall as well. The trio that performed... More

Good meals and even crowded it was not too late when our order appeared on the table. Family friendly and well located. Some Irish music at 9.30 pm... really nice dinner in a really amazing place in the west coast.

Best bar in Doolin despite stiff competition from OConnors and McDermots! Great food, great music, friendly staff and a brilliant atmosphere! Cant wait to get down there next weekend!! Never actually stayed in McGanns but will do at some stage!

We popped by on our way back from the Cliffs as we were recommended this place by friends. It did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious - I had the smoked salmon and he had the stew and a pint of the good stuff. Hearty meals and seemed very fresh. We were only there for... More

Good Irish Stew - proper neck of lamb, carrots and onions.! Nothing spectacular or too memorable, but a bit above the average pub food quality. It was a very authentic Irish pub experience with drinks and stew and craic! This place has a great atmosphere, and really feels like a genuine family-owned Irish pub. I would recommend stopping in if... More

Lovely place with friendly service, wonderful pub atmosphere, awesome Guinness (the best I tasted in Ireland...don't ask me why..clean line?) fun music. We stayed at a B&B in Doolin and had dinner and drinks here. Loved it!

My wife and I live in Ireland about 4-6 times a year. In fact we plan to retire in County Clare. We travel throughout Ireland looking for the best food dishes. McGann' s Pub in Doolin makes the best Irish stew we have eaten! We just had the stew again yesterday and each time it is the same - the... More
