Stopped here after a drive from Kenmare and a stop at the Cliffs of Mohr. VERY spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and thoughtful amenities made this hotel a true delight! The sleep was deep, and the breakfast was delicious! Owned by a lovely couple with very friendly staff. If you're stopping in Doolin, go DIRECTLY to the Lodge! You will not... More

I was given a massive suite of rooms which was a bit more accommodation than I actually needed. However the space was comfortable enough and I enjoyed the breakfast. The place was convenient for wandering around Doolin which is a very spread out community.

This was a nice hotel to stay at for a night if you're planning on seeing the Cliffs of Moher. Within walking distance of town (small town only one main street). About a 10-15 minute drive to the Cliffs of Moher depending on if you take the main roads or are brave enough to take the side road (very windy... More

We were travelling up from Killarney and wanted to visit Doolin again. We were recommended The Lodge by another B&B. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment which was very clean and comfortable. It had underfloor heating in bathrooms which was lovely in the morning! Breakfast was served by lovely friendly staff and was delicious😋 Would definitely return to The... More

A few minutes walk to the Lower Village, 10 minutes to Upper Village. Walk to the Cliffs of Moher along the breathtaking 8 km path along the cliffs. Clean, quiet. Friendly and efficient staff. Good breakfast. Problem with the water flow into the toilet was fixed quickly- laundry service was handy

What a wonderful few days we spent at the Doolin Lodge and the town itself. I have been booking the wonderful place since they opened 16 years ago. Finally it was my turn to get to experience it first hand. It is a stunning picture as you drive into Doolin and see the beautiful stone structure that awaits your arrival.... More

For the price, seek other accommodations in Doolin. This is not a B&B, it's stark and lack any character and warmth. While it's outside appearance has interest, the rooms are tired and worn. Quite basic and in sharp contrast to the beautiful Doolin area.

Dear Joseph B, Further to your recent review, I would like to make this management response. Firstly, let me address your comment 'this is not a B&B' , well after 16 years in business, let me check....yes, it's definitely a B&B, we are pretty sure about that ! We have gone to great lengths to make sure that The Lodge... More

Bright, open room with an adorable view of the Irish countryside - sheep and horses included! Great location - close to pubs and walking distance from the cliffs. Room was a bit small and shower did not drain however.

As a yearly (and sometimes twice yearly) visitor to Ireland, I always either begin or end my trip at the Doolin Lodge. I've lost count of how many times I've stayed here, but always, Deirdre and Niall provide immaculate, comfortable lodging that simply could not be in a better location. The lodge is within easy walking distance to all of... More
