This was my second stay at Daly House in October and it was great to be back. Susan is such a welcoming host (especially with the Bailey’s coffee on arrival!) and great craic. She’s very knowledgeable about the area, what to do, when the ferries are running, if there’s music on at the pub etc. She really goes the extra mile to make it a great stay for all her guests. My bedroom was warm and cosy and so pretty. The bed was really comfy bed and it is so quiet and peaceful even when the wind was howling outside. The room had plenty of hanging space, a lovely view of the garden and over to the cliffs and had an en suite bathroom with a good shower, hot water, toiletries. The breakfast was amaaaaazing! So much to choose from on the menu and it’s all freshly cooked and will see you through the morning no bother. Try the muesli shot – it’s delicious. Daly’s House is in a great location as well – easy to find and 5 minutes from the pub - which is always a good thing! I also want to add that Susan is meticulous about following the Covid 19 guidance and keeping her guests safe. I would recommend it to everyone and I can’t wait to come back for another stay – it’s my favourite B&B 😊…
We first visited Daly House in early July after the first lockdown was lifted and had a wonderful stay. We couldn't do the Cliff walk due to bad weather at the time, so we returned to Doolin again last weekend to attempt again. We didn't research any other properties this time because we knew we only wanted to stay at Susan Daly's place. Once again, Susan was a charming hostess and made sure we were sorted with directions, places to see, and dinner reservations. The rooms are very clean, tastefully decorated, and inviting. So many delicious breakfast choices each morning too and we also indulged in a lovely Bailey's coffee in the afternoon after arrival to warm us up. She is following all Covid rules with signage, hand sanitizers, etc and we felt very safe with the process. It would easily be our first choice in Co Clare on future return visits.…
I cannot praise this B&B highly enough. Wonderful hospitality from Susan. Fabulous house with great facilities in a perfect location. Great food with an array of choices. Close to the sea and to the village Definitely going back
Susan made my friend and I so welcome to her beautiful home in a stunning location, close to the ocean, the Burren and the Aran Islands. The rooms and ensuite were perfect, really clean, bright, good beds, great shower. The breakfast was excellent, a choice of cooked breakfast and lovely breads, homemade granola and muffins baked by Terry. Great coffee, freshly brewed, was an added bonus. The b &b itself has a beautiful garden and wonderful views, the guests have a private sitting room which is tastefully decorated and features local crafts and artists from the area. Susan herself is a charming, relaxed, caring host who makes you feel like a friend while under her roof. True Irish hospitality can be found at Daly’s. We will be back as soon as possible!
Did I say it was amazing ? We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Dalys House B&B. Susan is so welcoming , friendly and funny. She couldn't do enough for us. The B&B is beautiful. Spotless clean and we felt very safe there. The rooms are very quiet for a good nights sleep. It's only 3 minutes walk to Fisher street. The smell of rashers cooking in the morning entices you down to a superb breakfast.. Great selection and the granola shots are a lovely touch. We will stay with Susan again when we go to Doolin and you should too . You won't regret it.
