Sean & Niamh epitomise the meaning of Irish hospitality! They go out of their way to make sure you really feel at home and welcome in their own home in the beautiful and culturally rich village of Doolin. For anyone who wants to know stories of the land and leave Ireland feeling they truly learnt something about the history and its people, then your hosts will ensure you leave enriched, smiling and wishing to come back to this beautiful corner of Ireland. Sean also happens to cook a superb full-Irish breakfast to ensure you're well fuelled for a day of exploring the Clare coastline, or for lining your stomach for the creamy pints of Guinness in the local pub. If you're passing through this part of Ireland don't look past Doll's Cottage for a beautiful place to stay, eat and have the craic! Mark & Bronagh

Sean and Naimh O’Connor were great. The home is located less than 10 minutes from the Cliffs of Moher and less than 5 minutes from the pier. You can actually see the Cliffs from the second floor of the house. Sean told us stories of the history of his family and travels that were amazing. He also gave us tips and places to see as we made our way to Kells. Close to everything and they made the best Irish Breakfast we had on our trip. Wish we had an extra day to spend with them.

What can I say! Sean and Niamh were the most welcoming hosts. Room was cozy and super clean with en suite bathroom. Breakfast was the best I've ever had in Ireland served in gorgeous sun room. Location was perfect: walking distance to the pier (if you want to get a boat to one of the Aran Islands or Cliffs of Moher), the best pubs, cafes and souvenir shops. We will be back!

Sean & Niamh were wonderful hosts from start to finish. They provided a warm welcome and a 5 star quality stay with an excellent breakfast! Dolls Cottage is a cute B&B in the center of Doolin. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

We checked in and got out quickly and Checked into another hotel... Doolin Dolls Cottage disgusting... there’s old and then there is old out of date and run down... we’d never sleep there in there old beds with old bedding ... totally disgusting decor... the owner was obvious a smoker and hacked while he talked his wife was not friendly either... I would never recommend this hole in the wall.. needs a redo in the worst way....

Dianna, We are so sorry to hear of your appalling stay in Doolin, however you must have confused our establishment with somewhere else. In our 8 years of business, we have NEVER had a guest check in and then check out on the same day. You have noted that your stay was October of this year with friends, we have no record of you staying and again, no guests arrived and rushed out the door - ever. Your 'review' is more of an attack and the malice with which you describe your experience is appalling. My wife Niamh and I work very hard here in Doll's Cottage to provide consistent 5 star service to ALL of our guests. The people you describe I can confidently say are not ourselves. I am no 'hacker' and Niamh is far from unfriendly. I hope when you read this you understand the damage you can do to businesses with your false claims. Your only other contribution to TripAdvisor is another 1 star review for some other poor establishment. Small businesses like our own rely on feedback to improve our guest's stay. We are happy to receive any constructive criticism - yours is destructive and harmful. Thankfully the other 301 reviews are from guests who actually did stay in our home, guests we were delighted to host and will happily welcome in the future. Should you ever return to Doolin, you are most welcome to drop in for a coffee and a chat and we can reflect further on your rampant imagination. :)
