A lovely little cottage to spend a few days in. Sean is wonderfully helpful and gave us some invaluable tips and insider info for touring around the burren. Doll's Cottage is comfy and cosy, and the breakfast is good. Doolin is such a beautiful little town and an absolute must for delicious seafood, Irish music and some of the most... More

Miamh welcomed us as we arrived late afternoon, showing us our comfy room and gave us some information on the local area, where to eat and pubs that might interest us for the irish entertainment. We then met Sean in the morning for our breakfast, lovely full Irish breakfast. He was very knowledgable about all the local area to hike or... More

When arriving at Doll's Cottage, Sean warmly greeted us and helped us with our bags to the room. He promptly told us about the best places to eat, some remarkable spots to visit, and how to visit the Aran Isles. The breakfast that he and Niamh prepared was exquisite and had great variety. Rooms were quite cozy and presented a... More

Sean was an incredible host. Not only did he cook up a great Irish breakfast, but he planned a full-day driving tour for us around the Burren. He was wonderful to talk to in the morning over breakfast, and I really felt that he gave our group of four insight into the people of Ireland. Our room was very spacious... More

It's hard to know how to find the words to describe Sean and Neve's graciousness and hospitality--but I will try. First of all, the location is fantastic. Walking distance to the Aran Island ferries and many pubs and, of course, the Cliffs of Moher. Our room was spotless, breakfast delicious, and Sean had excellent suggestions regarding live music, sightseeing etc.... More

Nice little b&b. Stayed in room 4. It was clean and the bed was comfy. There are no windows in the room, only a skylight, so you don't really get any views. Didn't like that there wasn't a lock on the bathroom door, but other than that, it was a nice room. Hosts were friendly and breakfast was good. Short... More

We read the reviews of Doll's Cottage B&B and saw those who had visited raving about Sean and Niamh, which is in the end, why we chose this place for our seven night stay. They were NOT exaggerating. Their hospitality, kindness and authenticity blew away every expectation. Both Sean and Niamh greeted us like old friends from the moment we... More

Niamh and Sean are simply fantastic! We were treated by name by Niamh immediately upon our arrival. She is just about the sweetest person ever. She simply wants you to be happy and goes out of her way to make sure you are. The rooms are very comfortable with nice soft beds and the view from our room was just... More

I believe the review title is a complete summary. Niamh and Sean were welcoming. Shaun is a wealth of information on the area and, as any good Irishman should be, on the world. Not a fancy place but a great value and a pleasant stay.

We spent 3 nights at Dolls Cottage with Sean and Niamh. We were immediately greeted by Niamh by name as we pulled in the driveway. We met Sean the next morning, and he is a hoot. He cooks a fantastic meal and you spend breakfast listening to his turn on current events which are colorful to say the least. I... More
