Had a wonderful time during our stay with kids at glasha meadows . The service and rooms were up to the highest standards. Will be back again to doolin and hopefully stay here again in the future . . .
Lovely B&B, located in a good location just outside Doolin Village. Very covid compliant and hand sanitizers located at every door. Extremely comfortable bed, lovely spacious room, lovely modern bathroom with an excellent shower. Breakfast was brilliant also and they assisted all of our needs, good gluten free options also Views the next morning were stunning
Just for you to know, Martin, the host, welcomed us as we were part of the family 💓 Sandra’s breakfast was always beautiful and tasty. The place is familiar and perfect. Cozy room, comfy bed and view to the ocean! We went to Doolin when was Christmas time and everything was closed in the city. Martin decided to share his Christmas Dinner with us and told lots of stories. He saved our Christmas 💗 Oh! Another thing: we had to change our reservation and Sandra, his daughter, was friendly and didn’t charge us for that. If you are looking for a place that you’ll feel at home and it’s also in the middle of a paradise, stay in Glasha Meadows!
Stayed here with my husband in November and it was so lovely. I can’t recommend it enough! Definitely worth it if you’re staying in doolin. Only a 2 minute drive from everything! Good measures taking with regard to Covid also. Will be back hopefully when we are allowed..
Stayed here for 5 nights. Breakfast was lovely except for one morning we put on our docket 8:15 as we were heading out to Aran early for the day. Breakfast runs 8am-9:30am. We were however running 10 minutes late so one member of our party of 4 went and sat at our allocated table in the first dining area to order the tea and coffee. She wasn't noticed for another 10 minutes from the moment she sat down. When she was eventually attended to, a second member of our party had arrived at the table. The lady of the house then came back out and said that we were 20 minutes late and that she needed the table back sharpish, making an ordeal out of something that shouldn't have been that big of an issue. However, upon looking around, it seemed that we were the first people out for breakfast as the 3 other tables in the room were vacant and as well as the other 2 tables in the second dining area. What seemed to be the daughter of the woman was still setting up tables which showed that we were probably right. When we were leaving the guesthouse at 9:15, there were still vacant tables visible. The rest of the family seemed lovely, the man of the house is great for giving recommendations of things to do in the area however the lady of the house on this particular morning made us feel unnecessarily rushed and unwelcome at breakfast with her cheeky remark which was not a great start for our big day out to the Aran Islands. We would not have been running late only for the fact that we are a group of 4 women waiting to use a singular bathroom in our guestroom... 10 mins late should not be a big deal. I wrote on the docket "no bacon" beside the scrambled egg option as I am vegetarian. On this same morning the woman brought out one with bacon. This isn't a huge deal but I had opted for this option on a morning before this incident and my scrambled egg came out with no bacon then. Apart from this the rooms were lovely and spacious. Overall I would recommend here if you drive as it's a bit far out of Doolin village for walking distance but driving is only 5 mins, plenty of parking! Just don't be late for breakfast.…
