If you’re coming to this region this is the site to stay on. Up in the mountains this beautiful site has the friendliest owners and staff... nothing is too much trouble. The setting is perfect and the views from just above on the little mountain road stunning... especially as the sun starts to set. The village below is traditional and extremely friendly too. The site has a very pleasant and clean swimming pool that was open in early June.... highly recommended.
In Jan 2016 we stayed with our campervan for 20 nights. We enjoyed the site so much for our road cycling and hill walking that we returned in Dec 2016 and Jan 2017 for a total of 55 nights taking advantage of the discount tariff of 40+ nights @ Euros 10 per night. During this time Spain suffered some appalling catastrophic weather events which were felt particularly hard by people up in the hills. Despite the problems that this caused for the staff at the site they worked extremely hard to maintain normal service to the best of their ability. As usual this was helped by the friendly camaraderie that exists among regular users of this site. We will undoubtedly return to this site in the future and it comes highly recommended by us.
This is a nice small campsite with good clean facilities and easy access to some great walks on the doorstep. Maps and advice are available at the reception. It is only a few minutes walk to the village with it's bars, bakers, butchers and candlestick makers.
Although not far inland from the busy coastal strip of Denia this campsite is a peaceful haven with a great outlook to the coast. The campervan / caravan pitches offer the choice of either coastal views on the lower terraces or an extra hours sunlight, but no coastal views, on the upper terraces. Facilities are well-maintained and the staff and owners are truly, lovely people. There are good deals to be had for long term stays out of the main season. This is a great base for local hill-walking, road and mountain biking or just chilling. Local shops and weekly market offer basics, but bigger supermarkets are not far away in Orba and the other villages a few km down the valley.
