My wife and I started our honeymoon in Italy at this lovely hotel. We spent 5 nights here and the Angiolieri truly set the bar for our time in this beautiful country. It was an amazing experience and we loved that this was our home to start our honeymoon. Prior to our stay, my wife was provided with many recommendations by Ida from their Booking department/front desk team. Since it was our first time in Italy and at this hotel it was nice to have some insight on what to do while there. Vico Equense/Seiano was our base to get to Sorrento for different day trip activities we had while there. Annalisa was extremely polite and helpful when we checked in. She was our first contact upon arriving and she was so nice. She set the tone for all of the front desk agents and staff that we had the pleasure of meeting while there. She gave us an initial tour of the property and showed us to our room. We had a Classic Double Room which had a nice view of Vico Equense from one window and small balcony with a view of Mt. Vesuvius and the bay of Naples. The room was nice, clean, and, comfortable. We were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco, note, and some sweets to celebrate the occasion. Each morning we had breakfast on the beautiful terrace and were greeted by the Giovanni and wonderful team at L'Accanto. The view, food, and service at this Michelin star restaurant were excellent. Breakfast was included with our stay and the attentive staff and presentation of the food from morning to night make me want to return. Just know that for dinner you must wear pants. I had no problem with Overall, we loved our stay here. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Each day we were helped by the wonderful front desk team. We want to thank Annalisa, Ida, Adriana, Emanuela, and Gennaro for always being there to answer any questions, greet us with a smile, sell us train tickets, or help us in reserving the shuttle to the Seiano train station. They were all so attentive and pleasant to my wife and me. We had day trips 3 of the 4 days at the hotel and I feel like each morning we were asking them for help, and they obliged. After the long days it was always great to return to the hotel where they were there to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The hotel grounds were an oasis for us. on

My husband and I arrived at the Angiolieri early, as our flight landed at 730am. The hotel staff was very accommodating while our room was getting ready and we were able to use the pool amenities while we wait. Our room was the Faito Suite with Private Spa. It was fantastic. It had a sauna and steam room as well as a soaking tub. We received a nice anniversary welcome gift as well. We stayed 6 days and took full advantage of the restaurants on site . Its also worth mentioning that the concierge was able to help us book excursions ( Private tour to Amalfi Coast/Positano/Ravello, Wine tasting, & Private boat cruise to Capri) , as well as arrange travel for us with the shuttle to and from town. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Grand Hotel Angiolieri

We stayed here for the last 3 nights of our Honeymoon after touring Italy in a campervan for 2 weeks. The staff here are discreet, friendly and helpful. We had booked the prestige suite and it was exactly that. 2 private terraces, one with a hottub, loungers and private Sauna; the other a table and chairs. These looked over the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. We had breakfast served on our private terrace for a very small fee and this was fantastic. The quality of food for breakfast and in the bar was top quality. We didn't use the pool or the main restaurant for our evening meal as we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of our private suite. It's very close to the train station into Naples and Sorrento and tickets can be purchased from the hotel (these must be date stamped at the station before travel). Hotel rooms are kept spotless throughout your stay and the hotel will work around your plans when it comes to housekeeping. We left our bags open and housekeeping staff were very respectful of our belongings. We left with relaxed bodies and minds. It was a wonderful stay at a top quality hotel. We would definitely return.

We are devastated after staying at hotel angiolieri. Whilst the staff were generally fantastic, we unfortunately had two experiences that completely tainted our entire stay. The night prior to our check out day, we paid the remaining balance on our account and part of the payment we were to make was in cash, so we were wary we had all of our cash on us. Whilst my partner was checking out, he was subjected to racial abuse by other patrons staying at the hotel. This was the first awful experience. The worst was, on our checkout day we took everything out of the safe and packed our bags as we were to leave shortly after breakfast. Upon returning to our room to pick up our bags, my partners bag was unzipped which he thought was odd. After leaving the hotel, in the car to our next destination we realised €100 was taken from my purse, and €400 from my partner. For Australians travelling this equates to almost $1000 AUD. When we phoned the hotel to check the security cameras, they were not in the least apologetic and if anything were extremely put off by our “accusing” them, he told me “please be careful” when I said the money was stolen from our rooms. The “security check” took 2 mins and he allegedly checked the whole footage from even the night before and no one other than us went in or out. No apology, only blaming us and no offer for compensation. We will be making a police report.

Just returned really enjoyed our stay we had 5 nights here the reception staff were really informative and they really helped us as our room was not what we originally thought we got so they moved us to the larger room with a terrace which was perfect and this was next door to our friends so this was so appreciated. The Rooms are spotless huge terrace everything you need and more - mini bar payable but stocked - TV to use Whirlpool bath ( couldn’t get mine to work but wasn’t bothered ) down side only a shower head no stand up separate or over bath shower in these rooms 33 degree heat missed the use of a stand up shower ! The mattress was a little harder than I’m used too but it was ok The pool is stunning and the sun-beds are very comfy the pool young man who gets you drinks is just so helpful and fab at his job I think he was called Emmanuel he was constantly back and forth setting up beds and getting drinks and food a real credit to the hotel We only ate at the snack bar food is very nice indeed we didn’t use the main restaurant as it had a long trouser policy which in that heat my husband was not prepared to wear but it wasn’t a huge disappointment as the local restaurants around are great. I would recommend the beach club you will see it from the hotel it’s great for a change of scenery it’s the white and grey one that juts in to the sea Hotel staff all friendly and attentive I would return to this place

Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience in every respect. The warmth of the reception and the kindness and professionalism of the staff are outstanding. This is a beautiful, property tucked away in a quiet and gorgeous spot with marvelous views of the Bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius. Dining on the gorgeous terrace at breakfast and dinner is very special and the food is very good. The fact that one can take the local rail line to visit Sorrento, Pompeii, and Naples is an excellent feature of this property at a period of time when the entire Amalfi Coast is so overrun with tourists. I loved the serenity of the hotel and the beautiful garden in the front. The hotel also offers an excellent and free van service to local restaurants and train station. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

One of the most gorgeous stays on our trip! The most STUNNING views and 5 star service! A PERFECT spot to stay away from the crowds and have incredible dining. You can easily explore places like Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Ravello from here with a short trek. Could not recommend this place more!

This was our honeymoon hotel and we loved it back in 2013 when we stayed here.. We were upgraded to a Balcony suit with a fabulous personal courtyard and a lovely bottle of very nice champagne. We overlooked Vesuvio and had the most luxurious time here. It was once a monastery. We had the Michelin star taster meal and also went into vico equensy for the famous meter of pizza restaurant..
