Such a lovely hotel. The staff is super friendly and is more than happy to help you. The rooms are huge. The turn-down service is amazing. Every night they lid all the candles in your room. WOW. A big bathroom with a jacuzzi and a fireplace and candles. How romantic is that? The breakfast is very good. The typical cakes (pastel de nata) is one of the best that I have eaten in Portugal. We had the amazing experience that one night there was a small campfire outside where we were offered a lovely wine and the owner was singing. How cool is that? A pity we needed to leave because we had a dinner reservation. The massage at the SPA is very good. We had two ladies and both were excellent. If I do not need to mention a bad thing, it is the water temperature of the swimming pool. A little bit too cold to really relax in the water. But hey.....we have enjoyed every minute of our lovely stay.

Spent 4 nights in this lovely hotel. Amazing rooms with luxurious feel, great staff (front desk really friendly and helpful - many thanks to Silvia for her help and patience), perfect location with access to lovely beach via sand dunes. Sensible and reassuring attention to necessary detail in these new normal COVID times. A perfect place to chill out and relax. The in house playlists and good sound systems were much appreciated. Don't miss out on the Circle of Fire or yoga. Breakfast was excellent. The infinity pool was great - only wish we could have used the spa (Covid😢!)

We had a stunning room, fantastic bathroom with lots of character. The room really set this place apart. The pool was great also, and the location by the beach is stunning. We found the staff friendly enough, but a little young and inexperienced - the check in reception is also the spa reception so you end up having to wait to check in and check out while they sort out spa treatments. Also the restaurant pushes dishes which we did not find to our taste, we felt the food could have been better and the restaurant should have been more customer oriented. But overall a fantastic stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights and can highly recommend. I stayed in the Ainda room and it was both rustic and luxurious. It has a private patio that looked out onto the rugged coast line and was part of the main building. All staff were friendly and helpful, service was great. Breakfast was included in my rate, they were serving it buffet style but they bring it to you (COVID measure), tasty and good value. I ate there for dinner, it was a set menu (a beef main from memory) but I was able to order off menu for a veggie option, food was decent, my expectation was a little higher given quality of hotel. I took part in some of the complementary activities and would recommend, wine by the campfire, yoga with Carlos and the garden tour. I also took a bike out for a cycle around the local area. If you are able to drive/ rent a car I would recommend as there is limited access to Uber/ taxi’s

I don't think I have ever been mislead so much by a hotel. But actually this is not a hotel. There is so much wrong here, one does not know where to start. When you arrive, the entrance door is locked and you have to ring the doorbell and then wait outside, why?? They have all these anti-Corona initiatives which are completely misplaces and ridiculous. No kids in the hotel due to Corona, why?? If you don't stay in the main hotel (few rooms there), you must cook your own breakfast, and they bring the ingredients when they decide, why?? I have news for you, NO-ONE who pays EUR 500 and up to stay in a hotel wants to cook their own food and do their own dishes!!!! The townhouse we stayed in had a plunge pool, which is so small that it makes no point, and then it faces directly out to the road, the same road which all the delivery trucks to the hotel take by the way (noisy in the morning). Advertised as an Eco-Resort with no TV's etc., only the first thing you see when you walk into your house is the biggest TV you have seen in your life. And this emphasises this hotel, it's all fake, they pretend to be this Boho-chic-eco place, but reality is very different. It's actually a real shame, could have been something unique, and might have been in the past, but needs a full management and cultural overhaul to get back to the basics. Until then, NOT RECOMMENDABLE
