Very accommodating, welcoming and helpful. As I arrived after dinner, they offered to make me two rounds of sandwiches, which were very welcome.. Bedroom and en suite was very clean and included free wifi. Would definitely return and recommend. Grab and go breakfast was on time.

A friendly, family run hotel that feels like home-from-home. We had a very comfortable stay in a pleasant room, welcomed by Linda herself. The bar area is lovely to sit in and I was pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive two gin and tonics were!

Situated in its own grounds the Lodge does not have lifts so if like myself if you have trouble with stairs this can be a problem. Staff are friendly and we had booked honeymoon suite which had a 4 poster bed. So saying it was quite small and bedside tables were within limited reach. Electrical sockets were limited and not... We stayed for my daughter's wedding and Linda and Gary also hosted the after wedding meal. Nothing was too much trouble and with their friendly, kind and thoughtful presence, they made the weekend really special for us all. Excellent value too! Thankyou Linda and Gary!

Stop over on way to ferry at Cairnryan, very comfortable and well equipped room though wi-fi did not work in room outside main hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Did not try food but looked to be a good menu. Also had a breakfast you could take away.

Very friendly and welcoming, room really clean and bed comfortable. Food fantastic - try the roast beef. Catered for gluten free which was great, nice location within walking distance of local shopping complex. Would highly recommend Hunter's Lodge whether your visit is business or pleasure.

Three of us walkers stayed here for a night. The Hotel was ideal. We got a warm welcome and the facilities were great. Baths as well as showers for the tired limbs. We all had the home made burgers which were exceptional. Linda made a huge effort to help us get a taxi the next morning back to the start... More
