This place is old, the bedrooms are clean and tidy. For a budget hotel is does the job. The benefits it’s on the beach, the restaurant is good for Thai food and the staff are pleasant. Sadly restaurant is all outside and no indoor space, so very hot and lots of flies. P.s we have a child in a wheelchair and there are steps everywhere even to get to the loft you have to go up a set of stairs.
Sailom hotel has very good location at the widest part of the beach chairs and umbrellas are complementary for hotel guests. There are two pools 1 is saltwater the larger is fresh. The hotel is not the newest in Hua hin but is well appointed only 3 stories tall so it's easy to navigate . The staff are friendly and helpful most speak some English at the front desk they are multilingual. The rooms are spacious and clean with good air conditioning. Most of the guests are Europeans over 60 , some families with children as well. The restaurant is outstanding most tables have seaside views, the menu is extensive and the Thai food is some of the best I have tasted . If you don't stay here it's worth while to come for a good meal . There is plenty of parking the grounds and gardens are well kept.…
We moved here because it was on the water closer than G Hua Hin. It is a bit old the toilet works like that. It does not have a direct view of the water yet it can be seen from the room if you get up. The restaurant is a bit more expensive but wonderful setting. From there down the stairs and it is beach. Not great breakfast. Very nice people. The tv has English which is not true of the place I like better,Rajamangala chom kluen it is for Thai but they speak enough English I really like this place balcony quiet wonderful nice people, bad breakfast, no English tv, the WiFi is weak and have to keep signing on but I am very happy here
We had some confusion over an extra bed in the booking process which was handled very well over the phone by a lady at the hotel. She told us to simply ask for it at check in but when we did the male receptionist was very rude to my Thai wife. I stepped up to the counter and he immediately shut his mouth but maintained an attitude and I had to ask twice for the room key which he eventually slammed down on the counter. That said, the rooms are clean, there are two nice pools and the food and service in the restaurant is excellent. We have been going there for 15 years and will be back despite the idiot on the desk who needs to change jobs to something that does not involve talking to people.
This hotel is a bit old, but very good, rooms are clean and everything works. Restaurant is nicest a bit expensive (for average Thai standards). Hotel is right on the beach, the water is beautiful. It has 2 swimming pools, both are very good. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who is going up to Hua His.
