Sailom hotel has very good location at the widest part of the beach chairs and umbrellas are complementary for hotel guests. There are two pools 1 is saltwater the larger is fresh. The hotel is not the newest in Hua hin but is well appointed only 3 stories tall so it's easy to navigate . The staff are friendly and helpful most speak some English at the front desk they are multilingual. The rooms are spacious and clean with good air conditioning.
Most of the guests are Europeans over 60 , some families with children as well.
The restaurant is outstanding most tables have seaside views, the menu is extensive and the Thai food is some of the best I have tasted . If you don't stay here it's worth while to come for a good meal .
There is plenty of parking the grounds and gardens are well kept.

This place is old, the bedrooms are clean and tidy. For a budget hotel is does the job. The benefits it’s on the beach, the restaurant is good for Thai food and the staff are pleasant. Sadly restaurant is all outside and no indoor space, so very hot and lots of flies.

P.s we have a child in a wheelchair and there are steps everywhere even to get to the loft you have to go up a set of stairs.

Just spent a night before Songkhlan fest, 2024. Quite disappointed with the price this hotel charged. The only good thing is the location closed to the beach and Hua Hin downtown area. The room is large that is typical for old hotel. Breakfast did have with very limited menus (may be during weekday) and the quality was poor. Overall surrounding should be improved.
If you prefer the classic type, this hotel may be the one. But the price is quite high and not worth it.

We booked a room for three, to be told that the third person must pay an additional ฿400 for breakfast.
"Is it good?"
"Oh, yes."
Coffee from a 5 Gal urn, bacon absolutely ghastly, cold eggs, and the normal one star Thai plastic ham and sausages.
The rooms, and the hotel generally are tired, and in need of refurbishment.
Its redeeming feature is location, being right on the beach....

This Hotel is expensive for what it offers. It’s very tiered and needs renovation. Breakfast is expensive and poor. Eggs pre cooked and left to go cold and congealed like the rest of the English breakfast. Bacon and sausages pre-cooked and left to go cold in serving trays that don’t work. When I asked a member of staff I was told “it’s normal, it’s always cold”. Same every day. No effort made. Location great but Swimming pools nothing like photos. Very disappointed.

We moved here because it was on the water closer than G Hua Hin. It is a bit old the toilet works like that. It does not have a direct view of the water yet it can be seen from the room if you get up. The restaurant is a bit more expensive but wonderful setting. From there down the stairs and it is beach. Not great breakfast. Very nice people. The tv has English which is not true of the place I like better,Rajamangala chom kluen it is for Thai but they speak enough English I really like this place balcony quiet wonderful nice people, bad breakfast, no English tv, the WiFi is weak and have to keep signing on but I am very happy here

This place is great value for Hua Hin. Great location only five minutes from the train station. Right smack on the sea. Great for watching sunrise. The rooms are big and spacious. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The restaurant is very good. I highly recommend it.

Location>>>>>>
Hotel situated slightly out of town.Away from Shopping centre,Night Market and restaurants and /Bar areas (around Hilton Hotel) .One would need a 100 bat ride to go to anywhere mentioned above. The hotel provide transport BUT they charge.NO complimentary shuttles.

Rooms >>>>
Are clean and has A/c and safe provided.Surprised they dont charge for this as they charge for everything else.

Beach>>>>
This is one plus its on the beach and had to sometimes be early to get a sunbed.

Restaurant>>>
This hotel is dominated by one restaurant anf food i found was ok.So Most lunches and dinner we ate out,

Staff>>>
Most of the staff were polite especially ChuChat at the restuarant nice friendly waiter.Only staff not upto standard were at the reception. On check-in nothing was told about the hotel, beakfast times, rooms whereabouts, pools ect.Just there is your keys.I tought was a bit unprofessional.
Another example of getting more money out of you was that Reception would not even give me a couple of hours late check- out, they wanted to charge me once more, I can understand this if my room was booked or the hotel was full, but that was not the case.I thought this was not really necessary.

Again WiFI, be aware there is wifi in the hotel, but yes, once again not complimentary, there is a CHARGE,

My family members and I decided to spend our 2-week holiday in Hua Hin at Sailom during our summer holiday in Thailand, the country that has a lot to experience. We have found the Sailom, the resort incredible cosy and very comfortable, the room price was very attractive as we have booked online. We love the location of the place, of which is superb. There is white sand beach direct in front of the hotel, simply one of the most beautiful shoreline spot of all Hua Hin hotel. We are more than sure that, there is no other better location than Sailom. The size of the room was huge and has got plenty of spaces to relax and unwind. The breakfast was splendid and the in-house restaurant at the hotel was simply the best Thai gastronomy for us. However, for sure the hotel is dated a bit, for those who want a modern boutique Sailom may not be the right one for you. But of all experiences we had, there couldn't be any better than Sailom. We are so happy and looking forward to go back sometime soon!!!
