Hidden away in the middle of Sri Lanka down a road no one else would think to look is where you will living heritage. 88 acre land with only 4 rooms makes this place truly private hideaway with its own forest and private waterfall only guests have access to is incredible. the rooms are spacious... Our flight landed at 9pm and we didn't check in until 2am but my gosh it was worth it. The pool is fantastic, the food was delicious, the staff were exceptionally accommodating, the property itself is just beautiful and I would 100% go back. If you are looking to have a total break - this is the place to go.... More

This place is remarkable. The room - more of a house - I can promise you, you will NEVER have stayed in a hotel room like it. Unbelievably beautiful and decadent. courtyard, outdoor bath, fireflies dancing around the garden... The surroundings - as the other reviewers have said - are amazing. You have your own private waterfall, infinity pool and... More

What a place. Set in the hills of Koslanda, near a waterfall which is on the hotel site and is worth a visit. Rooms are amazing and the food is great. The pool is the best I have ever had the pleasure of swimming in with great views over the hills.

We stayed here 2 nights with full board. It is in the middle of no where & it took us 8 hours to drive from Kandy! However it is worth it once you are there as the place is so beautiful surrounded by mountains & nature. It has lots of wildlife with birds, monkeys & Land Monitor ( Lizard) which... More

We stayed here for 3 nights hidden away amongst the tea plantation and wildlife. The villa is beautifully designed. The first night we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's amusing sitting in the dark on the veranda when there's a power cut! Backed up by the generator to get the power back... More

We wanted to visit a tea plantation, and the Koslanda area fitted better with our itinerary than the more well-known Nuwara Eliya region - the National Parks of Gal Oya, Uda Walawe and Yala were the focus of our trip. From Living Heritage we took an early morning trip to Liptons Seat and the Dambatenne Tea Factory - you need... More

Our stay at Living Heritage was lovely. I highly recommend it for a few nights between the South coast and Nuwara Elya. The place was peaceful with plenty to keep us busy with. With only 4 rooms we felts at home. We enjoyed every minute of it. The infinity pool has a breathtaking view. During our walk in the forest... More

Living Heritage is undoubtedly set in a beautiful and secluded location. Certainly a trek to get there but for the most part, seemed worth it. The hotel is rustic and authentic. Simply but elegantly designed and the rooms were basic. The infinity pool is in an amazing setting, looking over the jungle. The food was not very good and could... More
