We stayed at Villa Le Masthota for 2 nights on March 2022 and actually the booking was made for the top management of my company and few of our international partners also joined with us for this tour as per the invitation of the Chairman. This was my first visit to the villa and it was little challenging for me to make sure that everything will go smooth at the location as I was responsible for handling hospitality arrangements for the top management and his invitees. But at the end we experienced great hospitality and enjoyed luxurious facilities at the location and I am sure that No one will get disappointed by choosing this option. Location – The Villa is located 1.4 km away from Wellawaya – Beragala main road middle of a jungle and it is really a remote area and no other establishments around the facility and truly it’s a PRIVATE VILLA. The Villa – A colonial bungalow has been restructured and re built with a luxurious design and facilities and all the rooms are made in modern concept and bathrooms are filled with required amenities. Also rooms are very specious and furnished with comfortable beds. View & the Pool – We enjoyed the coolest mountain view all the time and it has been really magical to experience the changes of the area with the mist and clouds while we were chilling. The panoramic pool at the edge of the land is one of the best and important and facility which made all my team relaxing throughout the day. The Best – Above all these positive facts the Best of this facility is the Service, Hospitality. There are 07 permeant colleagues working at the property including the Villa Manager Sameera and the Chef and they made our stay memorable. As person who was in the hospitality industry for years I was really surprised that the way entire team performed and BIG thank goes to the higher management and Sameera, The Villa Manager for keeping the quality and international standards throughout the operation. And BIG Thank to the Chef also for making delicious foods all the time and it’s just great. All the cuisines that the team requested were delivered in a superb level. We made 1000 + requests time to time and never heard NO from any of them. As a hotelier I enjoyed their team work all the time and as the facilitator or the tour I had no headache and they took the challenges on their hands and acted with the ownership. This is not something that talk HI but the reality that myself and the entire team experienced throughout the stay. As I mentioned earlier this was one of the best Villa Experienced we had with great hospitality and No one will get disappointed for choosing the property as stay option. Thank you all. I’m a boutique hotel hunter and I must say this was undoubtedly one of the best boutique hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property is located in a unique location which has given its million dollar worth view! It is so magnificent that you can just sit and watch it for days from the infinity deck they have created. The architecture is modern and the interiors are colonial-inspired, very cozy and elegant. The architect has done a brilliant job with the layout that the rooms and the living areas have access to the view of the mountains and have used cross ventilation techniques. The staff was fantastic with their service and very attentive. We were a large group and they took good care of all of us. The other best part is food - amazing! The place basically ticks off all what you expect from a hotel stay (views, accommodation, food and service) and that’s A+ rated! Glad I picked this place for the reunion of family and friends and highly recommended for families, friends and couples.

We decided to spend our 5 year wedding anniversary at Le maas tota and we were not disappointed. If you want to get lost in the hills, this is the place for you. The property is surrounded by amazing mountain landscape and one can only get lost in time here. The day beds and hammocks are so very comfortable, that all you need is a good book to relax and have the best sleep ever. Everything is thoughtfully kept in this bungalow, down to the cinnamon body lotion that helps keep the mosi's away. The staff are very accommodating, the chef ever ready to whip up your hearts desires. If you ever want a change from a holiday by the beach, the hills are definitely calling for you to come visit Le maas tota. Come surround your self with some magical hill country hospitality.
