The bungalows are magnificent, very well decorated, well laid out, good bedding and good air conditioning. The swimming pool is very pleasant and the deckchairs comfortable. Very beautiful environment by the river. The hotel is 15 minutes by car from the city center but offers a free shuttle at the time of your choice and the return costs $2. The hotel also offers bicycles and a very pleasant free 20-minute boat ride at sunset. We had a very good stay and would recommend it if you don't mind being a little out of the center.

Loved the rural garden feel, with the tree canopy all around. The wider location is excellent with Kampot town , Kep , the pepper farms & the Bokor National park all very close. The road from the riverside to the hotel is terrible( deeply rutted / large pools of water) but the the hotel do provide an excellent free pick up /drop off service from Kampot town. My wife enjoyed the massage& I enjoyed a kayak paddle which were both complimentary . The room was large and comfortable & the pool is a decent size. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast is nice &open ( but also keep the rain out , trust me!). The service from all staff is first rate & friendly & I enjoyed my lattes in the morning ( thanks Sereysaophorn) We would have enjoyed the sunset boat trip (charges apply) from the hotel but rain,thunder & lightening stopped play .

The hotel kindly arranged a taxi from Sihanoukville at a good price.On arrival we received a warm reception and were allowed use of our room from 10.30.Similarly on checkout we used the room until after lunch. The whole resort has been furnished to a very high level.It was spotless.The room was large and spacious and had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The pool had plenty of sun loungers and was spotlessly clean.The gardens were lush and well kept.We ate a few times at the restaurant and found the food to be some of the best we had eaten in Cambodia. Overall I think it’s the staff that stood out the most.There was always someone available ready to help with a smile. Thank you all for a lovely stay.

The most welcoming and beautiful structure in Cambodia. I traveled for 14 days in Cambodia and rivertree is the location that combines tradition and comfort in the best possible way. The swimming pool in the center of the garden is spacious and welcoming. The rooms offer all comforts, clean and with a very spacious bathroom. The walk on the water is very beautiful. The only negative thing is the buffet breakfast which does not include a dessert or a croissant. However, the structure is recommended

My wife and I purposely travel during slow seasons to avoid crowds. Because it was the slow season we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite upon arrival! Such a nice gesture. The property as a whole surpassed our expectations. The pool was the perfect temp with chair options in the shade or in the sun as well. The restaurant had quite a variety to choose from and very reasonable prices. Their seasonal suggested lychee mock tail was one of the best non alcoholic beverages I’ve ever had. Their regular cocktails were fabulous as well. The property offers a free shuttle to and from town which was such a nice accommodation not having to arrange a tuk tuk after a few drinks. All you had to do was text them your location and they were there when you needed them to be. They offer free kayaks as well. My wife and I took those out for a little sunset jaunt. The river was so pretty and surprisingly clean and free of insects. We wanted to do the sunset boat bar but got so caught up riding the motor bike around the Mt. Bokor National Park and around town that we didn’t get around to it. Next time! The resort is perfectly outside of town. Not too far, not too close. We prefer the quiet and privacy over being in the hustle and bustle of a noisy town with loud bars going all night. The resort can arrange a motor bike or as previously stated they have a FREE shuttle service which more than makes up for short distance from town. If you are looking for a relaxing and unique place to stay with great customer service to match its natural beauty this is for you. Unfortunately we did not get any pictures of the property but please enjoy the pics from our kayaking outing!

We stayed here 4 nights in May 2024. Quite, Relaxed and Beautiful. By the river. Don’t miss a ride in the kayak. Excellent service. Highly recommended hotel. Although not in city center, the free shuttle makes it easy to get to the city with a 10 minute ride.

While my 3 weeks trip trough Cambodia this accommodation had the worst service ever :-( First of all, the location is far away from the city of Kampot, you have to ride a tuktuk for more than 15 minutes on dusty narrow paths to get there (but this is not related to the staff). Wondering about the continues noise all over the place I realized that this area is a muslime neighborhood with a mosque nearby wich frequently send out their prayers. Maybe this is also the reason for the mainly male staff. The few guys I was in contact with weren’t very communicative and unobservant. If I wanted to have me bill I had to look out for a waiter by myself, sometimes waiting several minutes at the counter until someone take pity on me. Really a shame for this peaceful and obliging Cambodian people!

We're a newly wedded couple and spent a night stay at the resort during our local romantic trip. The resort surrounded by natural stunning views and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We had gone thru a quick check-in process and warm welcome by the GM, Mr. Pheng upon arrival. The room was specious with special honeymoon setup alongside with the contemporary amenities and gorgeous view. Next day morning breakfast was freshly made by the local chef. Our overall experience was authentic luxury with this charming resort.

We stayed 6nights in this amazingly beautiful hidden gems resort in Kampot city and the sleepy town where the resort itself is surrounded by its wonderful natures and bushes. It is located on the outskirts, a relaxed, and peaceful atmosphere for national and international travelers to indulge in this resort's facilities and services there.
The resort’s staff is informative, helpful, friendly, and goes the extra mile to rest assured that we have a great experience during our stay. The resort’s outlets and facilities are complete to offer us the sauna, Jacuzzi, and massage service, it is a comfy restaurant downstairs, and upstairs is a River Lounge with beautiful views where we can overlook the picturesque the outdoor swimming pool, riverfront, and mountain views to unwind our evening there. Moreover, we enjoyed having various lunch and dinner selections in the resort with the efficient services provided. Also, we experienced the kayaks, speed boat, and quad bikes by requesting to front office team prior. Please look no further than this highly recommended resort in Kampot, and this resort’s services and facilities spoilt us.
