Fantastic hotel. Doesn't look much from the outside but it is lovely inside. Clean, quiet and with amazing food. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Very comfortable bed with ensuite shower room. Very clean. Lovely buffet breakfast with everything you could want. They even catered for my gluten intolerance. We have booked to go back again because we enjoyed it so much.

We were staying in Castletown and asked for the best place to eat! And the Castletown Hotel was recommended. We booked up and arrived, we looked at the menu and it was very good value, my wife had Salmon and I had chicken pieces in beer batter! Afterwards we both had Dessert, I had cheesecake, my wife had the pavolova which were wonderful. We can highly recommend this Hotel, also the staff we excellent too.

Nice hotel , very comfortable and clean room. Pleasant staff good breakfast . Ideal stop on the nc500. Nice beach close by to walk dogs or just an evening stroll. Only downside was local chip shop was closed on a Sunday evening. So no nice fish and chips to eat overlooking the beach and the Orkney’s over the firth.
