Had the 6 course meal with friends . Turned up here post surf to a surprise booking by a friend , we didn't really fit the immaculate decor and grandeur of the place that night due to the unexpected surprise , however were greeted with open arms and were made to feel at home amongst well dressed clientele . I... More

Stayed for one night in June, sadly it was wet weather, but the garden and house are pretty and the setting would be great when the sun is out. The food was excellent all round. The bedroom I can best describe as homely but everything worked.

Stayed for two nights in this beautiful b&b and had a fantastic dinner the first night. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Mondays. Our bedroom was spacious with fantastic views over the water and out to the mountains. It is situated about 1 km out of town but it is easy enough to organise a taxi if you want a... More

This review is of the accommodation element of this great Restaurant with rooms. The rooms are traditionally furnished with antique wardrobes and beds but have everything that is needed for a 'boutique hotel'. Free glasses of wine provided, Free WIFI in the room. Full bar service and great friendly staff. All added to the fantastic restaurant. What's not to like.... More

Excellent service and food in well presented and beautiful surroundings. All the staff are friendly and helpful and could not do anymore to enhance our experience. We were a family party of seven celebrating two family birthdays on this accasion and yet again I can only say that everything was perfect. We all enjoyed our beautifully presented food in a... Our rooms were clean, charming with lovely views. The food was DIVINE! I give this establishment only 4 stars because there was no proprietor on the premises during the daytime while we were there in June. In other words, you couldn't lay in and wander down for a cup of coffee in the morning (well they did have a pot... More

I think this is a destination place and not just a place to sleep on your way somewhere else. We stayed three nights. The decor is just lovely. Susan, the innkeeper, was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. We had a lovely ensuite room that had a lovely view of the lake and mountains.

We had the Castlebane room which was a generous size and very comfortable. Very relaxing to sit in the lounge chair, look out the window and sip a wine. Views over the lake and outstanding. Complimentary wine was also very nice.

What a lovely, special place! Our bedroom, the Casey, had an gorgeous view over the lake and was clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. There were even a couple of bottles of wine welcoming us. Our breakfast the next morning was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. In fact, my husband said he had the best omelet he has EVER... More

This is a most hospitable and comfortable place to stay with an exceptional restaurant. The location overlooks the New Lake on the edge of the village - perfect for sitting in the garden with a glass of wine watching the sun go down. The room we stayed in had an even better view. It was immaculately clean and generously comfortable.... More
