From yurt like tents to railway cars to standard B & B style accommodations, the Mill has just about any sleeping arrangement you can imagine. There is even a caravan park and tenting ground for campers who prefer those modes of accommodation. A substantial continental breakfast is included with the price of lodging. There are kitchens for the use of... More

We booked this last minute for a one night stay. Pleasant surprise. Full of character, clean beds ( and I am fussy) the most relaxed place I have ever stayed. Loved it.Great choice of accommodation. As well as the lodge where we stayed for b & b, there is a hostel which is a converted railway carraige, motorhome park, camping, glamping.... More

was a very good place, easy to find and central, had good facilities, wifi was great as were beds :) although there was a few broken light blubs along with cobwebs and a very broken shower head! other than that the staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly, only other this is that the breakfast was lacking, could be improved... Stayed here for 2 nights Glamping with my family. Fun experience. Staff and owner very welcoming. It has all amenities. Yes there are some cobwebs but it adds to the character of the place. Beautiful views. Well worth a stay if you want a quirky experience. I give it a thumbs up :)

We spent two nights here. The first night was in our campervan. There are 10 hardstanding pitches and the top row had some great views over the new lake (even in the rain) the showers are in with the toilet and are OK but lack hooks to hang your clothes up. The second night we moved into the B&B as... More

Thank you 'FJG' for your 'Fabulous' review. I think you summed up the place very well and I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay in this ''quirky' place. The secret is that I long ago stopped trying to be anything other than myself and I find that 99% of my guests appreciate quirkiness. I hope you can come back... More

Stayed in Donegal over bank holiday weekend. Booked last minute when there wasnt much choice. I misunderstood the nature of the Corcreggan - which was my mistake. I had hope for a little more luxury. This is a nice, fun, history steeped, intriguing unique hotel. Not my cup of tea.... but I can see why people looking for something different... More

Thanks Clive ... for what I feel is a fair and balanced review, especially your comment on the quirky nature of the property and accommodation. I'm hoping that your stay was memorable for the right reasons and I accept that there is no excuse I can offer, only an apology, if you found some dust in your room. I can... More

Stayed here in our motorhome recently. beautiful place, very well kept and clean. Owner very friendly and helpful. Toilets/showers kept clean, only slight criticism was the shower was very cold but that may have been because I used it before 7am, water was warmer after 9am. Fresh water fill hose could be a little longer to enable a fill up... More

Many thanks for the very positive review and apologies for the cold shower. The probable reason for a cold shower at 7am and a warm one at 9am was that on doing a quick inspection one morning about 8.15am I noticed that the pilot light was out on one of the showers and I reset it immediately. This intermittent problem... More

We were looking for somewhere for 1 night at short notice and stumbled across the Railway Carriage. The whole place is lovely. It's no distance from Dunfanaghy. It's quaint and quirky the carriages looked ideal. The only reason I couldn't give a 5 rating is because I felt the carriage could have been cleaner...(lots of dust on the bunks themselves,... More

I appreciate the generally positive review and whilst I have come to accept that quirkiness is part of our trademark I could find no evidence of the cobwebs etc as reported by this reviewer and neither could I find evidence of a guest name in May which approximated to that used here by the reviewer but I realise that that's... We stayed in the guest house for 1 night and found it friendly, clean and comfortable. Anyone who grew up camping and youth hosteling will love the atmosphere here and I think it is ideal for a stay of at least a few nights. The surroundings are beautiful and the nearby town and beach of Dunfanaghy are lovely. I would... More

I am grateful for the reviewer's kind comments regarding how our property looked and I completely agree that it's inexcusable if there was no-one at Reception and no reply to the phone ... which is a mystery because one of our staff is normally in possession of a cordless phone at all times, in case they are away from reception...
