I enjoyed staying here - I had a lovely quiet room in one of the townhouses. Breakfast was really lovely - I particular liked the cubed potatoes with their herb seasoning and that poached eggs were provided as a standard selection item. Lovely atmosphere in the place also.

The lady at reception never made eye contact and we didn't feel welcome. The room decor was in need of attention. Bathroom was not 100% clean. Hotel was warm and our room was cold which is the way I love my room. Extremely loud voices and banging of doors until 1.30. There was one young man attending to the bar,...

What screams about this sad hotel is the lack of care shown by the owners to let it fall into this state On the surface it looks OK but when u look closer there is no pride taken in its appearance Also very evident is the obvious lack of staff training in customer care and communication. Breakfast was a shambles...

Nothing to said bad, nor to critic, because I was fallen in spell with this magnificent hostel very charming and attractive. A reception at your services all the day and night, a bar well furnished in alla brewerages and opened very late, a complete breakfast with true orange juice for exemple and not with powder basis, etc., with possibility to...

We stayed here while attending a wedding at the Powerscourt Hotel. We chose it as it looked like a lovely country house and while reasonably pricey, it wasn't as expensive as the Powerscourt. We thought it would be a little bit of luxury going by the €160 a night price and the pictures on their website. Unfortunately we chose to...

We had booked a spa package for 5 of us where we had a lovely relaxing day in the spa followed by a fabulous evening meal. We had checked in with a lovely and very...

To say I was shocked is an understatement. I kicked myself that I did not insist on speaking with a manager during our stay in The Summerhill House Hotel but in all honesty if I was even given a free night away here I would not go. To Summarise: On arrival it was not a friendly welcome. Afternoon tea: We...
